- Today we modify moto moto to be a 72 volt electric supermoto!! Lots of mods went on the bike, and finally the e-bike is ready to rip, fully transformed from a mini pit bike into a mini super moto build.

What is the major modification? On the seat
@@user-rw1lr6fz1p I show it a bit in the video, but you have to take apart your stock seat to get the plastic “seat tray” on the bottom. Then remove the foam from the CRF50 seat and glue that to the Razor seat tray, then recover everything with a new seat cover

I have 3 mx350s , I really need a sx500 mx650 I actually bought 2 mx350s together for $10.00. Beautiful build.

Ended up getting a pocket mod miniature and added a 72v 3000w motor and a 9ah battery. Still balancing the battery pack and still need to secure the motor properly. The battery can do 100 amps and at 80v it's going to be insane once it's completely. Great video bro had a good time watching it.

@@logan-taylor got it at a estate sale for 35 bucks. At first I used a DC to DC to convert 12v to 24v 400w converter step up booster. It went 11 mph. Not sure how fast it'll be once it's upgrade.

Love to see a video of your CRF 50 seat install. I did the CRF 50 seat on the MX500 and thinking about doing it on my SX but always heard its doesn't fit. I figure it needs mods but it looks clean here.

I should have made that part more detailed, just didn’t want to bore people haha - essentially you just deconstruct both seats, put the CRF50 foam on the SX500 seat tray, add a small sliver of the SX500 foam at the back to fill in a small gap, then rewrap everything!! Next time i’ll make a dedicated video on that

Bro. Ima need help on the settings for the Kelly. I went 72v yesterday so now we really twinning lmfao. I don't have low end but my mid range and top end is crazy. Hit 46 last night lmao on the new street tires. Loving the progress on your build though homie!
ooh congrats! Did you get a stock Kelly or one with a tune? For what it’s worth mine felt sluggish at first but that was just a throttle sensitivity thing compared to the psychotic Amazon controller lol. Do you have a cable/PC?
@@logan-taylor yeah I had my Kelly tunes for my 48v previous setup. I have the Bluetooth adapter and the app on my phone to change settings

You need forks and a longer rear shock to loft the bike a little
I’ve thought about a full crf 50 seat/ plastics upgrade, but I haven’t been able to find anyone whose tried the seat. Thanks for that! Would definitely like to see the process for the seat.
totally, it would work with lots of mods! Alternatively, if you have an MX500 or 650, CRF seat and plastics should fit directly - Razor tried to make everything compatible.
@@logan-taylor I’ve got an MX650 and an SX500, I was hoping to throw the E&C 11kW on the SX, and the 5kW on the 650. I like the same sized wheels for the SX and wanted to mini-supermoto it. Was hoping I could mod the CRF 50 seat to fit easily.

I am building on right now. What should I use a 72 full battery and 60 V?
i would say go for 72v over 60 - both are more than enough for these bikes, but 72v allows you to run more power at lower amperage which is helpful. Also, you’ll always want more power so might as well go 72v :)

What fluid are you using for the brakes and what bleed kit did you use?
Just dropped all the affiliate links above - I'm using the same mineral oil that came with them, it's a Shimano type of oil (but not actually shimano lol). Since re-bleeding them everything's been solid but time will tell
i accidentaly bought the 48 volt controller 2000w and motor from best equip but i have the 72 volt battery will it still work

Hi I have a question about the super Moto tires, So do I use the same tire for both front and back and my other question is did you have to do any modifications to fit the wheels or was it just a direct fit?
same tire front and rear! No mods to the wheels, just the stock 10 inch SX500 wheels with the new tubes and tires mounted :)

For the supermoto tires can you use the stock tubes? Or can you just put them strait on like a normal tire
The stock tubes might be slightly too small but could still work. I just purchased new 10 inch pit bike tubes on Amazon that are rated for that tire width :)

I think maybe now is somewhere around 40mph, but feels waaaay faster and gets there stupid quick. No trouble with cops yet but it’ll happen eventually, just a matter of time! I just keep my head on a swivel haha
hey man i’ve been thinking about getting a surron then decided to get a razor and mod it, was wondering if i should get the electro and co kit or do what you did, i have no idea what i’m doing with electronics fyi
Definitely electro and Co kit if you have the money saved - doing it yourself will take a ton of trial and error (you can see in my videos it took forever to figure out wiring & get everything working). If you like that challenge of learning as you go, then DIY could work, it’ll just be a big project!
Can you make a wiring tutorial for beginners. What supplies you all need. Don’t you just strip the wire and add connectors.

Hello how did you ever fix the throttle being super sensitive when you first built the bike? Mine currently does that wwith the same kit you had originaly
it’s mainly a controller issue unfortunately :-/ just make sure you’re running 5v through the throttle not 12, that can make the sensitivity really dangerous. I upgraded the controller to a Kelly KVD and that helped sooo much without being too expensive

What spray did you use to get the seat cover to stick to the foam padding?
I just used a tiny bit of 3m contact adhesive! It’s popular at hobby stores and stuff - you only need a tiny bit though, the staples are really what holds it together
Do you not get bothered by the cops when riding in the streets? I'm picking up a SX500 in a few days and that's the only thing I'm worried about.
i haven’t yet, I think people tend to see it as a toy. But it totally depends where you live, cops like to hassle people about bikes in certain areas

can you help me find a way to fit a crf50 seat onto the razor? i’m confused
you’re going to have to remove the stock cover, peel off the plastic seat pan (the bottom plastic part) then do the same thing with the CRF50 seat and just use the foam from the CRF50! It’ll require recovering the seat but it’s sooo worth it

@@logan-taylor right! I realized that’s probably what it was after commenting. Yeah I like the look of those little bikes, the frame actually looks alot like the little mx350 frame but with suspension added as an afterthought. My first razor mod was an insanely fast mx350 I threw together. Now I’ve got an mx650 I’ve been working on but I still look over at that awesome little mx350 frame fondly because it just looks so cool
