Dude, a carb is no where near a stage 2. Might be advertised as one but a regular stage 2 is gov removal, better carb, header, then the internals: flywheel, higher lift camshaft, billet or forged connecting rod, heavier valve springs, thinner head gasket, and racing spark plug. I don’t even think they make a stage 2 for that engine/ bike.
Manufacturers don't even have a standard for "stage" 1, 2, 3 etc. It's a marketing gimmick created years ago by an ad agency to sell more parts. Talking shite about something, when there isn't even a defined standard to judge it against. One companies' stage 1-2-3, isn't necessarily the same thing as another random manufacturers stage 1-2-3 might be.

imo you should spend a lil more to get a coleman 212 so you can swap motors and have enough space in the frame, because those things are fun stock, but your gonna want to go faster

I did gopowersport carb adapter and filter mod, aka megamoto 80/105 are all swapable parts and interchangeable 😅 even did the front fork suspension

regarding the zip tie method to remove the rpm limiter, would this be safe to do so with a stock flywheel on a 212cc predator? or at least semi-safe?
i havent had issues with it, even has a stage 2 cam and hasnt blown the flywheel
i wouldn’t recommend it, the flywheels turn into literal grenades.

Stock carb. Just drilled out the air box to allow more airflow.

You need a new carburetor, a torque converter, aluminum fly wheel and exhaust. I did that to mine and it goes over 50.

@ off Amazon. It’s a Honda GX200 clone motor I think so make sure it’s compatible.
