but he left the door open to diffuse the bomb hidden behind it where you meet vamp first encounter. he should've return to its original state of the door at 20:22
The Soliton radar made the gameplay way worse. It should've been abandoned after the top-down Metal Gear 2 on MSX and I'm glad MGS3 got rid of it completely. MGS4 has the threat ring and the Solid Eye radar which was a significantly better replacement to help with special awareness without being completely broken and ruining the challenge. In MGS1, you have absolutely no reason to look at the actual game because the radar gave you way more information. It's basically a game of dots and cones because that's all you need to look at. MGS2 has this problem too but they nerfed it by adding nodes you need to reach and activate before the Soliton radar is turned on, and on higher difficulties there is no radar and guards actually have good sight. No more dots and cones.
It was great but it's not necessary in the newer games. The moment we were given free camera movement in the Subsistence version of MGS3, it wasn't as necessary, but it would still be nice to have. The Solid Eye was sort of like it, but it sucked in comparison, especially because of the batteries it ran on
Hey man after mgs4 and possibly mgsV you could do an assassins creed ghost run, it seems fun! Like you are an actual old style hitman that only kills their target
Honestly this is so much better even if the quality is poorer. All the garbage overlay and facecam just takes away from the run. Why go through all the trouble to do the run just to upload a really slop VODlike version. Also a dude called OddlerPro did a very good ghost run as well.

According to the rules, the "almost ghost run"' is a poltergeist run
Leaving the locker open and restarting. Jag really takes these seriously! Awesome.

@@lokidedbeat1878oh crap. He must have overlooked. He will redo the entire run now lol
@@lokidedbeat1878 also the doors to the bombs around 40:00
@@lanzin ohhh thats the most brutal one. i don't think jaguar king going to redo his ghost run.
@@lokidedbeat1878 n mb. Kobo
1:51 same difference IMO, hell of a fun idea man, good luck and have fun!
That bridge glitch was insane, I have never seen that in my life
6:57 - "Oh there's a guy coming, there's a guy on top"
You have to restart, in Arsenal Gear Raiden was barefoot and was leaving his prints all over the floor. Seriously though amazing run 10/10
Another proof of MGS2’ superior gameplay, good job
Doesn't the need to make the rules less strict disprove that? lol
I miss the Soliton radar mgs has never been the same without it

Fucking nuts how he just casually finds a new speedrun glitch

Been waiting for this one to come out, great job. Can't wait for MGS4 next
i remember watching this live. was much fun. How about the opposite? To raise 1 alarm on every screen and killing everyone before proceeding? ;)
I absolutely love this series.
That was super fun to watch , thanks for the shoutout
What about the locker of strut b, the one hidding the bomb? If the locker on the tanker bugged you, that that should too, and strut d covers as wall
So... Twin Snakes next?
Its crazy how speedrun tech that alters the run is always some random accident by someone streaming
Did you say nerd?
GGz
Impressive!
so sigma!
So the answer really is no. Good effort though!
Do peace walker first dude

@@hommeslip9966 that was awesome.
@@EthanCruise I've try some of this tricks and it's working, MGS2 is awesome because it's made to be speedrunned.

Darn. You will guilt Jag now lol.
Needs a proper redo a lot of video editing and video skipping
Can we do it in one ghostly segment tho?
