- We’ve finally got Fatesworn and have had time to explore its great world and interesting setting… but has the story changed the lore of Amalur? Stay tuned!
Music recorded by Szlobi: • Kingdoms of Amalur Re-...
Great vid as always! Thanks for giving credit for the music! However I datamined it, not recorded.
Gotcha, thanks!
I would like to see a video on the mitharans and their kingdom of mithros. Who were the royal family of mithros? Did they ever restore the royal family after telogrus fell? Also great videos, my man! You do an excellent job of delving deep and telling the lore of Amalur. it is a great and well written story with a vast and deep lore, some of the best. it needs to pick up steam again and continue. So, Thanks for bringing us all of the lore Amalur has to offer! Keep up the good work!
I'm just glad to finally get new content for this game after so long. I have not lost hope for a sequel that fixes some of the issues of the base game.
Yep! Even though you can tell they had a lot of trouble working with the old code, I love the effort they put into giving us new content in such an old game. Can’t wait to see what they’ll make when they use their own tech!
You've earned a sub and a like !
The Oracle's have spoken. The time of reckoning is at hand.
I personally would love to come back as the fateless one 😁
I loved the dlc and to be honest I would love it if they bring the fateless one back for another game as well as agarth and ayln 😃
I really liked it too! As much as I love the Copernicus story, I would love to see the Fateless One again, especially with modern tech that can up the action ante!
I agree and who knows maybe the new adventure could take place were the fateless one went and we could possibly meet the other children of keozai
I haven't played the Fatesworn yet, and I don't know if this could work, given what I saw in this video, but I had an idea of a sequel where there were 2 types of Fateweavers' readers like Agarth and shifters like the Fateless One. The idea was that Fate once again became pre determined, but could be altered by a shifter, who were VERY rare. This would allow the came to take place long after the average lifespan of the playable characters (whatever that might be). Obviously, the main quest would have the shifter being contacted by a reader to change a Fate of someone that would lead to a world changing event or whatever. I didn't really work out details.
@@lordoflore9761 good youtube video. i buy kingdoms of amalur re-reckoning fate edition (xbox one) on january 2021. i hope we get in future kingdoms of amalur 2 and dragon dogma 2. lords of lore try role playing games two worlds 2- game of the year edition (ps3, xbox 360, pc) and divinty 2- the dragon knight saga (xbox 360, pc, xbox one) . do you know the news role playing game arise of awakener (ps4, pc, ps5) is come 2023 and is just like dragon dogma
Donald Layton - That’s a REALLY good idea!
Can anyone share me the save files for pc of this game i accidentally deleted my save files. Please help me 🙏🙏by providing me the save files of this game 🙏🙏🙏
There is no reason to take what Skald says with a grain of salt. I think some have misinterpreted what she said due to assumptions they have made. Skald may well have had a struggle with Agarth over control of the Order of Fateweavers several decades ago - by all accounts they are both 'old'. Skald only claims that she worked with the Fateweavers, Agarth, Alyn and Phynia; she does not claim all four of them worked together. (By the way any ideas who Phynia is? I am two-thirds through the Fatesworn DLC and have yet to encounter that character. I am now hooked on the lore behind this game and would like to tie up loose ends.) I have also noticed sufficient clues for the possibility that there may be a sequel, it would not be hard to build on the ending of Fatesworn in a new environment. I must admit when I saw a playthrough of the ending I had a chuckle when Shir accuses the Fateless One of blabbing about Tirnoch, as I suspect the tavern rumours were spread as a result Agarth's drunken indiscretions... 😉
Many thanks for the Amalur lore videos, I have enjoyed them immensely and will no doubt refer to them again. I am retracing your footsteps by reading the in-game books now I'm nearing the end of the 'action'.
Huh, I never thought of it that way - they could have just argued BEFORE the disbandment! Thank you for the insight, and I’m glad to have inspired. Hope you find something worth while, and would love to talk about it :)
I found your channel today, sensational. You talking about the lore of this amazing game is very good, keep up your great work.
Thank you for the support!
Project Copernicus was supposed to be MMO and I just don't think that in current gaming landscape that's direction they will choose. Direct sequel or single player/co-op game based on Copernicus lore is far more likely.
Moreover from Copernicus describtions it has some very WoW like lore ( two main faction, war betwen them ). So changeds may not be bad things.
Agreed, but I still want to see the lore and history of Copernicus, especially the races and the Kollossae empire
How do you get to the Mysterious Monolith near Crownhold?
There’s a boat you interact with to the northwest of the main gate that takes you to the island
@@lordoflore9761 Someone told me yesterday. But thanks anyway.
I hope that they resurrect project Copernicus, that seems the best in terms of lore and story. It's what we have all been waiting for and Amalur 2 is long overdue.
Amen to that!
@@lordoflore9761they wont they already said they have no interest in the mmo
The only change I really noticed that bothered me at all (not much) was Agarth's voice actor changed.
The original died I’m afraid
I just got this game yesterday and it's dlc
You’ve been following me this long and are just now getting the game? Wow, I admire your dedication and hope you enjoy the game as much as I did! At least you’ll hop in knowing all the lore that comes with it :)
(Unless of course you’ve already played the original. Either way, the remaster alone is worth the buy for its improved detail and combat frame rate)
@@lordoflore9761 yes I played the original one on PS3
So what’s the best crafted weapons and armor with this new dlc?
The best would be either Chaos or Mitharan weapons, then go for components that grant % damage boosts and attack speed boosts
@@lordoflore9761 And armor? Also are the Chaos Weapons more powerful than the Primal weapons? Because I previewed a Mithran sword and it was still weaker than my Primal sword.
It ultimately depends on your crafting skill, but your highest chaos and Mitharan will always be stronger than your highest Primal
@@lordoflore9761 Understood,
@@lordoflore9761 Do you know where I can get Flawless Mitharan Damage Components? I just need a Flawless Mitharan Damage Grip for my future Chaos sword.
If the Great Cycle continues doesn't that mean the fae will be reborn again and Gadflow will come back?
Not exactly. If you watch a couple of my other videos (particularly “Who Are the Dragons”), they’ll explain my theory that as the world goes throughout the Cycle, new beings are introduced with each phase: Erathi, then Niskaru, then Summer Fae, then Winter Fae.
The Erathi have already disappeared, likely because of Tirnoch (who also seems to be the source of the Fae’s disappearance). My belief is that the Fateless One and other un-predestined events have not stopped the Great Cycle from turning, but rather changed events so that things aren’t happening the way they’re supposed to as the Cycle turns.
So now that the Fateless One is gone, the Cycle is still spinning, but is the world going to face each phase the way it was intended to? We’ll have to see!
Which DLC is your favourite?
As much as I love Fatesworn, my favorite would probably be Teeth of Naros. Building your own home on Gallows End is fun, but man I love the Kollosae, the side quests, and the awesome story of that DLC. So unique!
its not even like a bad retcon it all make sense they all thought they knew what was going on but clearly didnt the ending im not a fan of leaves less room for a sequel and more dlc with our character
I don’t think we’ll be getting another DLC. The ending is much more sequel material
Not going to watch yet. I have to beat the game again 😢
I didn't know the content was only going to be available after the main game was complete. I will be back after I am able to get through the game.
Good luck, hope you enjoy it as much as I do :)
Just a heads up, you'll be walking around a lot.
@@jacobj3933 haa! Thanks for the heads up.
@@lordoflore9761 I know I will. Once I get there in 30 more hours or so. Whenever I start a new game I erase the old saves (unless there's a new game+ option). Oh well. I love every minute in this beautiful world.
😏👌✨
It's not worth it. You can try to make sense of it, but this was THQ trying to give themselves room to add in whatever it is they wanted. For example, you tried to rationalize what could have happened with Agarth and Skald, but that was never outright stated or hinted at. I know you're trying your best to make sense of it, including the ending, but what happens in game is not what works or has been said to canonically fit. As for me, I'm not going to give whatever comes out next any chances. Majority of the people who say they "liked it" can really go on about the new things. Is that how we're going to judge a game now? Because it adds in some new items?
Well then I for one have to totally disagree with you. Rationalizing Skald, sure, but the thing with Fate doesn’t contradict any future content.
If they make another adventure of their own, I’m looking forward to it!
@@lordoflore9761 Not necessarily with fate, that was always a hit or miss. I'm judging the dlc as a whole.
@@lordoflore9761 The dlc's story wasn't that great, take into account what it retcons, implies, and then taking into consideration the extra armor being added on to reskinned enemies, justifying the chaos weapons being added (which could have worked, but it didn't). I can't say this was a necessarily a good addition to the game.
The best most people can praise this dlc for, from what I've seen so far, is just the new dlc unique weapons and unique armor/set armor. Sure they're neat, but when you think about it how different is that mindset to essentially praising a store for adding in new clothes in the clothing isle, but still isn't doing so well in other sections?
@@theobell2002 Same to you! Lol
I think your over thinking it, as long as we get more content, more weapons and armor, new quests and zones, that's all I personally care about, yes story is important but not at the cost of gameplay, this is why I have a love/hate relationship with scarlet nexus, everytime the gameplay got good the story would show up to stop it in its tracks, it's almost as if Bandai Namco thought telling a story is more important than fun gameplay, they forgot what games are supposed to be about
