The news is this has been patched on PS4 (i was never tracking other formats tbh though has worked for some previously). The only way this might work for you is if you turn off automatic updates/ updates for this game but I would assume any recent download of the full game you get from the store will come with the updates included so if you've updated, theres no going back😭 The fact they've patched it might suggest more content coming? But who knows!!
To add, if you have a disc version of Re-Reckoning, you could potentially do the dupe glitch and stock up on items/gold and then update and install the dlc - the xp potion came with Re-Reckoning DLC so you should still be ok.
You can get a cheap copy from any gamestore (currently £7 in Game UK) so if you really wanted to do it, thats an option . You could install the game, do the dupe, make a save and then take the game back for a refund and then use that save on your digital version but thats on you 😂 - i can only confirm that it works on PS4 though, I cant confirm the other formats so your own risk picking up a disk.
Or its like dragon age 2 last patch was just to stop having 3 concentration skills well skills that reduce stamina to maintain the skills so i hope they ad something and from other comments on switch it wasn't possible
But what if you download the DLC before you play the disc version offline?
@@IIXLR8IIid have to imagine it would come with the patch already part of the software. Anything you download from the official places will be the most current one unfortunately.

Still working as of November 2022, if you're doing this on PC you can use an auto clicker to tremendously speed up drinking the potion.

@@Ma77R Rikka Egest sells the first backpack in the Corner Shop in Gorhart.
I discovered this yesterday. When he starts giving cash, instead of selling you rare items. Just increase the game difficulty and he start selling rare weapons with higher levels.
Nice spot! But for those going for the difficulty trophies, I wouldn't change the difficulty during a playthough 👍

@@Djuntas If you're referring to the XP potion in the Gorhart chest, then no. Once you use your only 1, it's gone in that playthru forever, and there isn't anymore. That's why you need to sell it and then immediately buy as many as you can before exiting the merchant menu. Then keep 10 of them to sell and buy again as many as you want in groups of 10. Always keep 10 for whenever you want to repeat the trick.
Still works even on ps5 this is awesome thanks man! Only minor gripe with this game was the time it takes to lvl
I don't understand how this works. It's not working for me. Any tips? I'm selling the item that I got immediately, but then when I re-buy it, it doesn't let me buy duplicates. What am I doing wrong?

Okay. It's too late for me to do the potion part of it, but, I did the exchange anyway turning approximately 33K gold into almost 600K gold. I usually just did this to grab extra sage crafting gems (not with Bluer, though). I never even thought to increase my gold in this way. Also, I found the hidden dungeon and got the 3 extra packs before I tried this. So I had a higher inventory limit. I suggest getting Gossamer End at some point and storing everything in the chest then heading to Gorhart and using this hack to increase your gold. Next time I start this over, I'm doing as seen in the video, but probably not all the way to Lvl 40. I might stop at 36 or 37, just high enough to open the Tier 6 cards. Love this hack already. Thanks for the vid!

Are you playing the original or the new re-reckoning version? What system are you playing it on? Did you even check the special deliveries chest outside of Gorhart Inn? Did you already use the XP potion earlier in your playthru and forgot you used it? Give us SOMETHING to work with dude.

on PC, May 2023, this doesn't work. when you go to buy back the items, it only gives you 1, and they do not resell for a greater gold value.

IMPORTANT TIP - Use it for Blacksmithing, Alchemy and Sagecraft when you find powerful or rare component!
Anyone who accidentally drinks all elixir drinks, go back to the vendor to the sold items and their should be another 10 there to buy back from the vendor, buy them (they will dissapear - to your inventory) goto your inventory sell all 10 go back to the vendor sold items it will then allow you to re buy the 10 elixers over and over again
Unfortunately it has been fixed on PC :(
When selling an item and rebuying it the item is removed from the shops list.

Still works on PS as of 30/10/22. Can also confirm it works with the Fatesworn DLC - From 40-50 in about 15-20mins (500+ potions per level).
Edit - Doesnt work on Switch!! However, you should be able duplicate items using the method shown for gold, if someone on Switch confirms, I'll update this pin.
I saw that the 2 DLC's - Teeth of Naros and Legend of the Dead Kel was included on the Switch version, but I cant explain why Gham Bleur wasnt.
He can also be found in another location later in the game so have a look incase he's just missing from Gorhart.

Was this patched? I can't get this to work because after I sell the purple surprise armor it only allows me to back it back once and not multiple times and the sell price is only 2 gold. Doesn't work on PC Steam version

Doesn't seem to be working on pc in March. He only sells one item so you can't buy back multiples at 1gp
7/19/2024 Pretty sure this doesn't work anymore. When i go to re-buy it, i buy 1 and the item disapears from his inventoryl and im not able to buy multiples

sadly this requires grabbing the chest items and some of them do scale
so was hoping this didnt involve that so i could see them at higher levels

Am I missing something? When I try to buy back the potion, it removes it from the shop's inventory. Playing on seam pc.
Could be the pc version was patched? The other reason is youre closing the window after selling, you have to sell it then buy back without closing the shop window 👍
after drinking the potion and reaching level 40, XP level no longer increases and remains stuck at 40, do you know why? Help.

If you get the fatesworn xpack level cap goes up to 50. Otherwise level cap is 40.
I have the dlc but it still stops at 40 and I can see that I am able to level up more
as today of 3/28/23 on digtail and without dlc this still works %100
October 30th 2022 and this works for Re-reckoning + Fatesworn. Got from lvl 1 to lvl 18 in 1 minute.

No mate. Its a bonus item that comes with dlc.
There are ways to potentially still dupe items, though you would need a disc version and not update the game until you've duped as much as you need - though If the disc version had dlc, you could do the potion dupe but you would need to start a new game for it to appear in the chest again.

I play the re-reckoning on switch and this npc is not there.
Unfortunately not yet, i dont play the switch version but i read somewhere it was coming soon so 🤞 the devs miss it
As of now does not work on the switch. This guy only shows up with Fatesworn dlc. That released for every console but the switch. As of now still no update on when it will be released.

@@Ma77R unfortunately it seems like it gets worse for switch users. I can not get the duplication part of the glitch to work. What ever I sell I buyback the exact amount I sold even when never leaving the shop.

You cant unfortunately its a special item given as part of the dlc, you will have to get it in new game+ or start fresh!

If you arent playing the re-reckoning version (the one that comes with all the DLC), i dont think he ever will mate as gham bleur is a DLC character

Can you use more elixers or does it have to be exactly 10 stacks?
You should only do it with a stack of 10. By doing so you will get maximum amount at once. If you have less than 10 use the trick to get to full stack.
PS: Potions have max stack of 10 but crafting components have 99. It is a great for Blacksmiths and Alchemists.

If you mean from the special deliveries chest? - they are gear sets that come with the ReReckoning DLC. You can still do the dupe glitch with any lesser gear you drop outside or buy from any vendor but will take you an extra 5-10 mins to build your gold up.

Keep the shop open, dont close after you sell to reopen the window and buy it again

I'm having the same issue I'm playing on switch but I didnt think that would matter I went to sell the item didnt close the window and went to buyback but it only let me purchase the one
I mostly just wanted this for the money, but if I ever feel under powered, now I onow what to do.

Underpowered in this game? lol.
Use blacksmith with dmg + items and gems like conquerors gem (+20% dmg to lightly dmg enemies fully healed is "lightly dmged") and youll do thousands of dmg with every hit. You don't really need to be high lvl either as you can reset fate and respec. Doing like 100.000 dmg with stealth attack on like lvl 20 is kinda nice.
@@xxXXRAPXXxx I’ve not see thousands of damage per hit. Every other hit though, especially on crits.
@@commodorejones8044 Did you do your equipment correctly? Like i said components with +% damage and gem +20% to lightly damaged (so if they are full health it will do +20%). With how weird % work youll get a lot of damage. Easy to find components are in the arena (heard the arena was a dlc but i always had it so i donno) and i think rathir and conq is made (utility) pristine fire + poison or 2 physical (if i wrote it correctly).

I think it depends on your version, if its Re:Reckoning (remastered) which includes all the DLC, he will be there somewhere walking around as well as other locations in the world. This was also on PS4 if that helps!

He wont be there if you didnt get the dlc, i think if you play on switch, it might not be available yet unfortunately

The XP Potion may be a reward for players who have both original game.
