I am currently having the same problem. I received a message that google blocked the app because it doesn't meet their security standards... What now? If I am successful in allowing less secure apps in order to complete this process, am I putting myself at risk to being hacked or something else? Google seems to be saying this.
This tutorial is SOOOOO helpful and VERY important. Setting up business domains emails is the VERY FIRST STEP to building any type of business online. Because of email marketing softwares/autoresponders. If u use an autoresponder/email newsletter like getresponse and aweber, its almost always impossible to use a normal gmail address as a sender, because it will be flagged as unprofessional and also your email campaigns will not 100% reach your recipients inbox, because "free email addresses" like @gmail will always be marked as spam in their spam filters. This tutorial is a life saver, of course its not the only way to get a business email add, but its the fastest, easiest, FREE way. Omg you rock! Thanks so much for this!

Thanks Greg. It's much cheaper and easier to do it this way. Google wants me to add G Suite to my WordPress for $6/month billed at $72 annually. This way it's less than half the cost. Thanks again for making these videos. Side note, I created a Facebook page for my blog site yesterday and invited friends and I have close to almost a 100 followers and counting, I would have never thought to do that if I didn't watch the video you created about that. I enter the Username as my gmail email and I enter the password associated with that email. It gives me an email error saying invalid password/username. Thanks for sharing your hardwork. for those facing "Authentication Failed" error, try generating an app-specific password from your original Gmail account that you are forwarding emails to, and use that password during setting up alias. you do not have to "allow less secure apps" for this to work. Just create app specific password and use that with port 465 using SSL. That worked for me.

No problem! You just have to create the alias email in this video, then select it as the sending from email when you are composing the reply email. There is also a setting in gmail that sets the default reply email to the one that the initial email was sent to.

The unlock captcha option works when these steps do not work. Meaning the allow less secure apps. That didn't work for me. I did click the link in your description box for Authentication Failed and on that page someone had a link regarding the captcha and it totally worked.

Hi Fiona, I haven't personally used Godaddy, however if you can create an email forward in the Godaddy account, then follow along for the rest of the video, that should work!
This only works if you're one of the listed countries where domains google is available. Otherwise, you can't set it up. Do you have any other recommendations or sites to set a professional business email?

Great question! Yes, the business emails will go to the forwarded email account inbox. You can set filters in place to flag the business ones or something similar.

Never mind! It actually worked, after playing with it for past two days. So when, turning on allow less app function, google sends you email asking if that sign in was authorized or not, and also window popped up, asking if you allow further access to those apps. After I confirmed it, it allowed me to finish setup of my desired email. For some reason, it would not let me do it at first. Good luck everyone. It works, just need to be patient! Don’t know if you still need this but. Try going to the link above in the description for the authentification error. Someone commented on the post it takes you to for authorizing captcha. Go to that link authorize captcha and try again. I tried the whole password reset thing, didn’t work. Tried the less secure thing, didn’t work. Turning on captcha worked

How do you attach a profile picture to the google business email, so that when you send a email the receiver sees your profile picture?
This is done in your google account. Once you click manage account you can select profile photo.

Business email is not possible without purchasing the domain name?
