How to Wash your Motorcycle | S100 Total Cycle Cleaner & Harley Davidson Engine Brightener.

- Hey guys thanks for tuning in! I hope this video gives you some insight on how to wash your motorcycle. I am a very big fan of the S100 total cycle cleaner and engine brightener. Leaves my bike looking mint.
1. Cool Bike (Rinse to cool if engine is warm).
2. Prep Bike. Put rain sock on your air cleaner, cover any electrical.
2. Apply S100 total cycle cleaner to entire bike and let sit for 5 minutes. Wipe off any heavy dirt or grease.
3. Rinse the S100 off your bike completely.
4. Dry the bike off.
5. Apply engine brightener let sit 10 minutes before running the bike.

Don't ever spray a hot motor down with water too cool it. That kind of rapid cooling or thermal shock is bad juju and can crack the engine block or warp the metal. The reason it's ok to ride in the rain is a motor that's running is constantly heating itself so there's no rapid cooling effect. Play it safe and let the motor cool over time in the ambient air.

I use the Harley quick wash. Best shit ever in my opinion. I frggin love it. Make washing my softail standard a breeze.

I use a foam cannon on my bike. Beats using a whole can of product everytime I wash it.
I use autozone wash&wax through my pressure washer then I use my leaf blower to dry it and finish up with a rub down of ceramic coating.

I wash my 1200T with one litre water spray then wax soap spray, then rince with one liter spray water, then wipe all water and finish it with Chrome wax and paint nano wax let it dry and with a lot of love give her a last massage, she thanks me every time. 💖
Is it safe to use on Harley Black Denim paint? I'm doing my first wash and I'm scared of wires and my paint. This looks like the easiest wash so far and I like it but is it of for black denim aka flat black Harley paint?

i have the denim paint. can i still use the s100 cleaner? i have used the s100 squirt bottle cleaner on previous bikes. if you have cuts on your hands be warned. it will sting.

How long does the engine brightner last? Does it need to be applied every wash?

What exactly does the dealer use when they perform a detail on a bike? I had a detail done twice already by harley.
Try the turtle wax hybrid solutions spray ceramic shit on it, too. Helps a lot. Any ideas on how to stop the rust where the spokes meet the rims?
ACF50 for anti rust, best shit ever, can use it everywhere but don't get on brakes or disc's though. RUclips it!

Get better spoked wheels that are chromed right and you won't have a rust issue for many years.
My engine was hot after riding for an hour and forgot to wait and cool down. Hit it with cold water and it steamed. Would this do any damage?
I wouldnt think it would do any serious damage. It would be the same as if you were riding and then it started raining. You should be fine 👍🏻
Have you seen customers damage there cluster from washing the motorcycle? Is that y you cover you cluster with a towel?
I personally have not.. but just to be safe 😅
How does that sissy bar fit over the reflectors?
If it's a HD brand sissy bar, it has quick detach docking hardware and mounts over the reflectors. Many other brand sissybars aren't quick detach

5:50 is as clean as it was at 2:24. Sorry but as they say (the D is in the details) I personally just cannot see any difference. Seems to me you are washing a motorcycle that is already washed. This is my third video today where the vehicle is (so seems) perfectly clean before the product goes in. I just don’t see how the miracle works its wonders. Yeah it is my opinion based on what I see.
Try it on a bike thats been rode good and not washed for a year then you will be a believer in twenty mins....trust me!

Looks like vending machine cleaner to me. Walmart sells the same thing as a glass cleaner for $4 a can.
The products actually lift the dirt bugs etc rite off the motorcycle without any rubbing on it so its better for the paint job....trust me im a perfectionist nutjob and ive done the traditional wash vs this spray method and the s100 wins hands down awesome product!
