It depends on where you're thinking of living in Gosford and what leads you to think that. East Gosford is pleasant, Point Frederick even more so. They're both convenient to the main shopping in Gosford, and the station. The suburbs along the railway line from Point Clare to Koolewong are also very close to the water but a bit further away from the centre.. They ae a bit further from the main centre but there's a supermarket at West Gosford with a Bunnings not far away. Suburbs away from the water can be very hot in summer, especially if they're in a bit of a valley.
