@Aumraj Beniwall Both are different and both are mandatory. Cover letter usually tell all the documents that you are submitting and Sop is your letter of motivation. I will share my cover letter and SOP soon.
Hello Akshun, your video is very useful and I grabbed huge amount of unknown information. Thank you for that. I have one question: I have my visa appointment at the Mumbai center therefore I would like to know shall I arrange the documents as per the checklist mentioned on the Embassy website or with the one you mentioned? Expecting your reply at earliest.
@Aayush Laad The documents required in Delhi or Mumbai are same. So I'll suggest you that get all the documents and you can then arrange it on the day of your appointment. As I currently don't have document checklist order for Mumbai VFS. Focus more on documents.

well as your original employment contract along. Please DO NOT staple any documents.

@Ananya If you have work experience. You have to provide its certificate also. However it is not compulsory and if you have no work experience. you can leave it.

@Manav If you have a contract and full the requirement of Blue card, then you can apply under blue card. However, I will suggest you to mail German Embassy for better clarity because if you applied under wrong category and went with your appointment, they will not entrain you and you have to start everything from scratch

Very informative video. I'm planning to apply for Winter Semester, 2023. I have shortlisted some of the universities those are accepting MOI certificate as proof of English proficiency. If I will get acceptance and ask them to provide a confirmation letter on letter head from the University, will it work on my German Student visa application? Or I have to give IELTS or TOEFL as a mandatory requirement for my german visa?

Now answering your question. As of today MOI is being accepted, however it is always advisable to check the latest requirement. Whenever you are applying. If you want my advice, you have an year so give IELTS.
Firstly, it will give a sense of relief. In addition to that, you will have a higher number of colleges to apply for and trust me the more you apply the better.

Hi Akshun .. My appointment was yesterday in vfs Delhi . They have already taken my passport along with 2 sets of documents and also noted the address for courier. I am confused about d-stamping. Will they call us again for any further process ? Or will embassy directly send the courier passport after stamping ? As it is already with them!
@Akash Salaria If they have taken your passport and you have paid courier fees also, then you will receive stamped passport directly.

Hi bro, Thank you for making such amazing video. I have received an offer letter from a public university and I am targeting for WS2023. I have a question after seeing your video yr you said enrollment letter chaiye but my enrollment period of university will begin in july, but I want to apply for visa before that so I will have some spare time before october when my classes will begin. is case mai kya kr skte hai if my visa appointment will be before I get enrolled in progam but I do have the unconditional offer letter from the university. Any response would be appreicated.
@Prafull Rawat If your appointment is july and classes starts from October then you don't need a extension letter. Enrolment letter is not mandatory if the the deadline has not passed.

Hello!! I submitted my visa application in New Delhi on 4th October. As you also submitted your application on the 5th, so I wanted to ask you about your visa status. Did you receive de stamping mail? I have not received the mail till now.
@Animesh .bhargawa Yes my appointment was on 5th October. I still have not received stamping mail. However I asked about my status and my digital document have reached to my foreign office on 21.10.22, So It might take 1-2 week more to receive the stamping mail.

Hi brother, is ielts is mandatory from Nov 1 ?? My university accept MOI and they accepted my MOI and I received offer letter. Is there any problem in getting visa because of ielts?
@Jiss Joseph you need a letter from university stating that, they have checked all the prerequisite required for your English language proficiency and now does not need any other form of certificate to proof your english language. Moreover, I will suggest that you email embassy before hand for MOI acceptability. If they say they accept it, you will not have any issue. But if they say you need to get an IELTS or Tofel then you have to give the exam.

Should I book an appointment before getting admission from uni? As the waiting period is so high. I am applying for the winter semester and in May or June I will get admission. So in which month should I book an appointment for VFS

1. APS certificate ke liye language certificate bejhna jaruri nhi hai. language certificate are to be sent voluntarily. Agr app bejho ge vo use check kr le ga agr nhi bejho ge to nhi kre ga.
2. DUOLINGO accept nhi krta VFS New Delhi. you need a letter from university stating that, they have checked all the prerequisite required for your English language proficiency and now does not need any other form of certificate to proof your english language. Ya phir apko IELTS ya TOFEL dena ho ga.

@Rahul Rio language certificate are not mandatory. Moreover, you can mail APS your new documents they will update it. But you need to some extra fee not 18000 full.

Hi...its been 36 days since my appointment in delhi vfs for masters student visa. If I check on vfs it only shows your file is in consulate. Is there any way to contact delhi consulate or any email id? If you know and can provide it will be very helpful
@Keshav Sharma VFS only tell you till your file reaches embassy/consulate. To know the status of your visa application E-Mail zzVISABVA@bva.bund.de . They will tell you your visa status. They usually take 5-7 days to reply. Give them your Name, Date of birth, passport number. They will tell you your status

@kamnadadwal3371 No, If a visa interview is required. You will be inform before hand and you need to then go to German Embassy/consulate for the interview on a separate date.

@sunny dayal It is not possible to convert a German tourist visa to German student Visa. You have to apply for student visa again, As tourist visa is Schengen visa (Short term) and Student visa is a D category (Long term visa).

well, bro, it depends on your school leaving certificate if it is from an international examination board like IB and A levels then it is not needed but if it is from an Indian or Bangladesh examination board then it is needed.

You have to show that you can pay
fees easily.. For the surety you have to make a strong financial proof.
Do any of the below things:
1) Best will be to pay 2 sem fees but I know that not everyone can do the same.
2) If you have taken loan for fees, show loan sanction letter.
3) If you are working and you have savings and you are self financing yourself. Write a letter and mention this. Also attach your 6 month bank statements and 3 years ITR
4) If any of your family, friends, relatives sponsoring you to pay fees. Write a letter from their side, addressing to embassy along with their 6 months bank statement and 3 years ITR.
If they don’t have ITR, try to get the proof of source of fund like FD, Investment etc.
If it’s just a saved money in bank account. Then attach only bank statement.
*Note: In case of no income proof, bank balance should be sufficient to cover your complete tuition fee.

@Papu Singh Usually after process is completed in Germany you will receive a passport submission mail within a week. Unless and until your application is in Schweigefristverfahren also meaning period of silence procedure. Then you have to wait until your period of silence procedure is over.
Regarding your 2nd question. There are chances of an interview after process is completed. usually it happens more with student who are going to private that too going without IELTS. However the chances are less

@Unknown There is not interview for german student visa. Only for some special cases embassy call or email you to come and give face-to-face interview. Only 5% students are called for interview, rest are without interview for student visa.
I appreciate your response, but I still have some questions. If I must provide both the university degree and the provisional certificate, could you kindly let me know. I don't have a provisional from the university, but I do have a degree.
One more thing: I haven't gotten an offer letter yet, but I'm anticipating one soon. Mid-April might be the start of the semester. For APS, I still haven't applied. What should I to do?
@@MLMinute If you don't have a degree then you have to provide a provisional. As you already have your degree certificate, then its no need to submit a provisional certificate.
I'll suggest you to get your APS as soon as possible, as there is a chance that universities also starts asking for APS in near future.

@Raj Pal agr apki appointment 31st October se phale hai, then apko MOI ke liye koi nhi roke ga. VFS ab ek certificate mang rhi hai jisme likha hai ki university ne bache ne prerequisite requirement met kr li hai. Ab isko kisi bhi Addition certificate ki need nhi.
Ek chiz me apko suggest kru ga ki App embassy ko mail kr lo. Agr embassy bol deti ha ki apko IELTS dene ki koi zurut nhi to appka MOI pe ho jaye ga..
