    Tsonga is very talented player... I remember his raise at the end of 2007 year, and especially AO 2008... This 2008 was also begining of Djokovic , Murray, del Potro... For đe Tsonga vas very promising to win some GS, but he didnt developed his talent as Djoko, or Murray or Delpo to be able to win GS... He was too much inconsistent, and last couple of years injured,etc... Shame, such a waisted talent... Similar as Berdych- many years top 10,20 player but never top gun...

      Man AO 08 semi against Nadal remains as one of The most impressive performances from a player that i ever see...startup to be a jo' fan since then.. but in fact its a shame that he didnt get something bigger in The tour.. great player even so..

    Jo is like that kid who cannot decide between a two-handed and a single-handed backhand ahahah. 😄

    I am new to Xonga in 2019. Since his Deminaur exhilarating performance i will be following him (and Basilashvili) instead of Rublev and Federer who kept disappointing in 2018.

      I know this is 8 months ago but I'll let you know that the Grand Slam Tournaments' footage can't be used by Tennis TV due to their separate and independent licensing and broadcasting rights. That independence is due to the fact that they're technically independent from the ATP and WTA tour due to the historical separation of amatuer and professional tennis players (only amateurs were allowed at the Grand Slam Tournaments until the latter half of the 20th century), which, no longer exists.

    Now he doesn't have a backhand at all, he prefers to play an one handed or inverted forehand instead of his natural two handed, it's a shame he can't rely on his strokes.

    Why tennis TV not uploading more highlights .... Cordoba Open is going on and not even a single highlight video from there.... I want to see Schwartzman playing...
    This channel is 👎

    Does he have a one or two handed backhand?

      Two-hander. He uses a one-hand bh for passing shots occasionally.

    Does he ever hit a one handed backhand from the baseline?

      the timing going from a 2 hander to a single would be difficult to do consistently. i think he brings it out on the run - when he is stretched (not to mention he loves doing it and has the ability to pull it off).

    He’s got the touch but not the power, I have the same issue (at a much lower level of course)

    • @Mrfix-iz4di
      @Mrfix-iz4di 5 лет назад +4

      Not the power? Tsonga is one of the most aggressive and hard hitting players today

    • @wellyngtonamaral4097
      @wellyngtonamaral4097 5 лет назад

      Agreed! Mostly due to his technique. It's clear to see that he is using more of his instinct.
