Do yourself a favour and watch his AO08 semi against Rafa, his Wimbledon match against Fed or his Toronto run. He is so much fun to watch

Tsonga was a really good player on tour. His matches against the big 4 were especially entertaining

I am just captivated by Tsonga's game. I think he is what I believe Alcaraz now bring to the game. Excitement and joy. For me, who just started playing tennis in 2021 and follow closely the sport and games, this is just pure joy to watch athletic plays and fast paced games compared to most of nowadays rallies.

I miss the days in the late 2000s and early 2010s when the love for grass tennis was at an all time high. The speed and shotmaking on the surface is the most electric of all court types when you have two guys who know how to move and take advantage of the surface. With how few grass tournaments there are currently, not to mention the low availability of grass courts for practice, it's a bit of a lost art.

Nowadays a point like at @10.00 would be all over tennis tv best shots of the year. Back then enjoyable normality.
We just don't expect great touches, and we overcelebrate when we get few of them from top players. That's why grass level has fallen...basic game, service, power shot, volley only if abs essential. Boring.

Same with 12:20. Always see Kyrgios and Monfils in the best of compilations. Never seen this one from Murray.

@@MarcoSpeaksNadsat Yeah man that shot is quite famous, but happened in the pre-social era ahaha.
      Also Tsonga dives
If bublik only tried and failed, would immediately be on tennis tv

Who is the “Tsonga” of this generation? Exactly. Don’t ever say anyone other than the big 3 isn’t as good as the best now. There’s no competition now whatsoever.
