I really like and respect Tsonga not only beacause he's an amazing talented player but also because he's a true gentleman! I miss him & wish him well (Fed fan)
I still remember him playing AO 2018 final against Djokovic. Who would have thought that the loser of that match would never play in another GS final and the winner would go on to win 13 more slams.
I don't think anyone would've believed if they were told the first AO finals he appeared in was the only grandslam final he would ever play in his career.
So sad that he never won a grand slam... the explanation: the big four (five) ! If he had played in an other area, I think he would have a different career...
@@yadumadhav5792 Since 2016-17 for Thiem and 2018-19 for Tsitsipas... But in the 2000-10's, it was Wawrinka and Murray the 2 others from the Big 5... And Tsonga was not a first rank player this last 5 years...
The first time I saw Tsonga playing against Nadal in 2008 AO I was just blown away by his shear class. But since that time Tsonga's performance deteriorated. He has all the potential to win great games but somehow the other he just underperforms .
Miss you,Jo '(
He's back in Metz.

I am his fan since 2008 when he reached australian open finals. Wonder why he never won any GrandSlam.. He has the potential
I know three big reasons why.

2008*
The point against Troicki is unreal
The best player to never win a grand slam, hands down
david ferrer?
Nicklas Schmidt I'd say him and Berdych are just behind Tsonga in terms of who is the best player to never win a grand slam
“to never win a gs” doesn’t make sense
MA XO What part of that sentence don't you understand?
Kevin Twine that means he is the best player for losing in grand slams or not?
I‘m not a native correct me if i was wrong

Talent with a capital T from the man with a silent T.

Top comment!
Fantastic!
Singlehandedly, the G.O.A.T of everyone without grand slams, no cap
After Federer, the best volley on the tour
Mischa Zverev?
@@msods watch Tsonga's ao 08 match against Nadal. But Mischa is a beast, no doubt
