    Both seem like really good guys. Wishing the best for them going forward especially Casper he's been knocking on the door for a big title for some time now.

    People underestimate Ruud but he's got the entire skillset of an excellent player - killer serve, baseline game, net rallies, etc. Most top 10 players are going to be in for a tough match if they draw Ruud.

      I wouldnt say He has a Killer serve but He is a pretty complete Player yes

    • @novacrater3114
      @novacrater3114 2 дня назад +2

      Yeah his forehand is top tier and his serve is also pretty good for his height but he struggles a lot in the big matches and often loses, like often lol, to lower ranked players. He’s just very inconsistent except at Roland Garros. I am very much hoping he pulls it through this next year though and at least gets a masters as it’s def doable on clay 100%. Slam is questionable though depends really on how Carlos and sinner are doing

      It's only the new Ezone is better

    • @TraeBeneck
      @TraeBeneck 2 дня назад +2

      @@novacrater3114 Sure, he was inconsistent last year, but from like 2021-2023, he was perhaps the most consistent player on tour. He was basically a lock for any 250 tournaments he entered and usually went deep in 500/1000/GS, just never could break through. That's how he got to #2 in the world without any big titles to his name.

    If you just listen to the sound of their shoes squeaking you can hear how many fast adjusting steps they are continually taking to move that well.

    Welcome to the grunting team, Casper Ruud. Alcaraz, Nadal & co. welcome you wholeheartedly.

    • @Antonije-r5j
      @Antonije-r5j 2 дня назад

      That's kind of what I want to see from Ruud, he's always so strict with himself and doesen't allow himself to grunt or show any emotion.

    • @gablan1468
      @gablan1468 2 дня назад

      @Antonije-r5j I was being sarcastic. Emotions is fine, but grunting after each hit is too much.

    • @Antonije-r5j
      @Antonije-r5j 2 дня назад

      @@gablan1468 I don't know grunting can intimidate your opponnent, something Carlos and Novak have been doing. Casper seems to lack that intimidation factor that's what I was saying.

    • @juedionne925

      Casper usually barely never grunt... except when he serve ! If he grunts, you know the match is really hard on him...

  • @oooodaxteroooo

    ruud surely has an option to loosen his string tension. it sounds like 26+. he has to work WAY too much for an average shot!

      He strings 57 pounds or 25,9 kg (at least somewhere in spring 2024 it's what he said)... I know he has tested some adjustments just before Nitto ATP Finals... but I can't say what it is now !
