  • The folks at INNOCN are sponsoring this video to take a look at their new 34" ultra-wide gaming monitor. The 34M1R is a great piece of hardware and continues the company's reputation for bringing high quality display tech to more affordable prices. This is a premium option from the label though, and it makes some BIG claims against competing OLEDs. Let's take a look!

    That's a great combo. The Art monitor is fantastic. The widescreen is going to be killer on movies.

    I got a 34" ultrawide from Dell to test out last year at work. I can't go back. Price-wise, it was on par or less expensive than running dual-monitors, cleans up the desktop a lot, fewer cables to deal with, and a lot less headaches as the IT guy. My boss went to one, my wife went to one, several staff opted for an ultrawide vs. dual monitors, and the most telling thing ... my wife and I both bought one for our desks at home as well. I used to be a triple monitor guy, but I find the single ultrawide to be overall fantastic. I do appreciate Dell's built-in multi-device KVM, but I don't use it as much as I thought I would. Still nice to have sometimes when I need to diagnose/set up another PC without having to run more peripherals - just like you said. The Mini-LED looks sharp!

      @@i_watch_everything my work one is a C3422WE, with the built in conferencing features. Includes the infrared camera for Windows Hello too. Discontinued now though. Home one is S3422DWG, 144Hz with 1ms response time and freesync support.

    Hey what was the b-roll video you played at 8:37 with the robot on the spaceship that seems to launch into a kind of "FTL Travel" at the end? (EDIT: Possibly could you just include a playlist of the videos you played? I get my OLED tomorrow and would love to test those videos on it :) -- thank you! )

    your timing is perfect, looking for a 2nd monitor for the 15 4K laptop. Love the OLED screen, but I refuse to use more the 150%, which is still small 🤣

    Having to use an hdmi adapter or a multiport hub to connect to a monitor is really messy, so having both usb-c connectivity AND extra usb ports for additional accessories is something I really like in monitors. That's why I have an Asus ProArt display at home.

    • @SomeGadgetGuy
      @SomeGadgetGuy  2 месяца назад

      The monitor really took over as an accessory hub. I love to see it.
