- The INNOCN 34M1R has a lot going on for it with the primary draw here being 2304 local dimming zones and a ton of extras like a KVM switch, usb type c input with 90w charging that can be used for a display input and the wireless charger on the base. Unfortunately certain things may fall short of your expectations when it comes to performance so I hope this video helps in your purchasing decision.

Super In Depth, I feel like I really got to know this monitor through this processs... (todays price $539.00) I was seriously considering this as an option to save money over the new MS 34" QD-OLED...($739.00) After watching this review, I am thinking I might want a more premium product. thank you! Response time and Local dimming are kind of huge for me. I want a premium experience in visuals, i dont care about speakers, rgb, phone charger, headset hanger....none of that... I want a beautiful picture that is consistent, I want to set the adjustments one time, and then just enjoy!
You are stepping up the quality on your reviews, awesome stuff!
Thank you 🙏🏼
I've been seeing this monitor for months on amazon, nobody talked about it or made a review, in theory it was great, it was the monitor with more local attenuation zones per inch that existed, but now I see that there are many things that it does terribly wrong, and no matter how cheap it is now I think it's not worth it.
tnks so much for the review!
Dammit... Was waiting for this to come out in the EU under the PREDATOR X34 V3, but this review makes me question if I really want this. Thank you for the very thorough review!
The other similar choice would be the lenovo y34wz-30 but I can't find any detailed reviews of it.
All monitors seem suck either for gaming, HDR or for productivity... Wish OLEDs could be brighter and never burn in from 8h workdays so I could finally justify buying one :((
Nice just saw its 599 with coupon on amazon right now
Please review the msi mag 34cqp qd oled 175hz.
Does the monitor have Aspect Ratio Control in the OSD?
Does the monitor support firmware updates as a feature?
do you have high pitch noise during usbc connection? Mine does and want to know if this common
I noticed that in general with the speakers being turned on but wasn’t sure if it was just in my head
10w sub + 2 5w speakers
The alternative monitor you recommended has hdr 400 i.e non at all
not really an alternative then is it
how do you get the kvm to work
I simply dont understand how there can be so much blooming with over 2k dimming zones.
I was thinking of getting this monitor but that horrible perf of dead space really just confuses me. Is this an isssue of the panel or the game? Also have you tested any other dark games?
I found out it has to do with the units the control the local dimming zones. A panel of this size should have around 4, this has 1 which leads to the blooming.
@@1UpNerdcore wow thanks for the info! Damn what a shame. If the local dimming would work decently this would just be a hell of deal for 500 bucks. There will be some more mini led monitors releasing this year. If none of them fit my needs i guess im just gonna drop 700 bucks for an samsung g8 oled.
Someone tested on PS5? VRR at 120Hz?
I enjoy your reviews , nice and calm haha cheers .
Do you think it was a dodgy panel , that local dimming didn't look good at all ?
I only had that issue in dead space where it looked that bad. The other instances just aren’t as noticeable unless you’re really looking for it. Not quite sure why it’s struggling but my guess is the quality of the mini leds or the lack of being able to adjust it in the panel settings.
@@1UpNerdcore I'm trying to decide between the LG C3 42'' and the Neo g7 mini led 32'' ( that you did a great review of) . Did you review the C3?
Could you put chapters on this video?
Got it there now in the description 👍🏻
@29:36 The LG NANO-IPS has no HDR...
Lol it’s literally vesa hdr 400 certified
@@1UpNerdcore HDR 400 Is not "REAL" HDR. It is a marketing gimmick.

@@1UpNerdcore If an LCD/LED monitor does not have FULL ARRAY LOCAL DIMMING(FALD) with at least around 300 plus Local Dimming Zones and 600 nits Peak Brightness(HDR 600 Certification), it is not "REAL" HDR. It is cheap, entry level stuff to confuse the consumer into thinking they are getting real HDR for a bargain when they are just getting knockoff HDR.
You’re putting those constraints on what you consider to be “real hdr”. Color bit would matter over that if I was going to put constraints on it. Peak luminance would be after that and FALD would be last.
