I have super thick 4c hair, medium length, and i actually tried the Denman brush a while ago - my hair hated it lol. Now i use the wet brush, but it's the mini one. It seems to be a little more flexible than the large one, and it forces me to focus on smaller sections while detangling. No issues so far! Been using it for about 1 year
I find this only works vertically and under a shower stream. Those little balls on the bristles cause more harm than good imo. The handled tangle teezer reigns supreme.
Yes i used to love this brush, but i dont reach for it much anymore. I dont wash my hair in the shower anymore, and it seems to work better in the shower with the stream.
thank you for reviewing this brush! I kept seeing it in Target with the tagline "works on all hair types!" and I was curious to see if it would actually work. I wasn't going to buy it because I grew up with the stigma that those types of brushes are for wigs lol but I was pleasantly surprised to see that yes! it is a brush, and it does brush our hair! it sounds so weird to say it but I genuinely didn't think it would. I still wouldn't buy it to replace my beloved tangle teaser but I am glad that I saw your review and demo. PS, your twists look really good!
Best tool are my hands, followed by a wide-toothed comb...but everyone needs a brush that their hair "likes". Personally, the shampoo brush I purchased at Dollar Tree and one from Daiso are the best ones I have tried.
Carol Smith my hair strands are too fine and I have thick hair so finger detangling is just not going to cut it or I’ll be detangling forever meanwhile i won’t get all the hair out
@@fg1434 I finger detangle before washing during pre-poo, but once a week or so I use a brush to deal with shed hairs. Having fine hair has to be harder because it's so easily broken.😔
I've used Wet brush and had no problems but I prefer the Phillips Flex brush. It detangles right away and is a breeze to use. Not too expensive either-- I think I got it from house of beauty and it was not expensive.
I do have a wet brush that I have used a handful of times. I've since found and fell in love with my Plugged In paddle brush. There are no balls on the bristles so no worrying about snagging. The only downside is the brush is very lightweight and I've already had to replace one but I bought 2 so I'd have a back up! 👌🏽
Great video. I’ve tried the wet brush before and felt like it only combed the top layer of my thick hair, if that makes since. Didn’t really get in the knots. I’ll have to try the tangle teaser
I did get me one last summer just to see how it would do. I decided that it just wasn't for me. It detangled but like you, I was nervous about snagging.
I have a brush that looks exactly like this it just doesn’t say wet 😂 considering I’ve never tried any other brush since I’ve been natural ... it’s where I’m at 🤷🏽♀️😂
My hair does not like this brush. I now use the Kazmaleje paddle comb. It’s love, detangles my hair with ease, it’s like a better version of finger detangling!
I got this brush and loved it so much.... Until I realized what it did to me. It ripped the whole bottom layer of my hair as if it were a razor. I just didn't notice how bad the damage was until it was too late since it happened over the course of like 4 months. The layer it ripped is underneath luckily, but it is about 3 inches long vs. the rest of my extremely long hair. And now my hair is thin and puny and I'm so sad. I would not recommend this brush AT ALL
Hi, as someone with high porosity hair, what are your staple/holy grail products...shampoo, conditioner or deep conditioner, leave in, style product, moisturizer etc. If you have a video on this already, sorry...please link it
Hi guys!! Consistent Lexi strikes again lmao have you used this brush??
Just a tip: you can use ponytail holders/ hair ties & put on the handle of the brush for a better grip 🙂
KandidKinks what products works for you.... I like your hair texture.... what products are u presently using?
@@ADOS_TNT thanks for the tip👍🏾!! I'll definitely try it for the handle of my Tangle Teezer's which is slippery when I have product on my hand

I figured that out too and it's weird brushing it. I
I use this on my daughter's hair and its constantly getting stuck in her hair

I hear you, Lexi, you're saying there's no Wow Factor with this Wet brush compared to other brushes you already use 👍🏾
aka aly houston it have to do with your hair type and it matter how wet your hair is and the hair products you use
Sahara Johnson 🤔
@@karenhorton148 😉😁😍ty..cuz i also was like..🤨eh??
aka aly houston I’m still laughing 😆
@@karenhorton148 🤭😄
I use this to detangle in the shower. Love it!
First !! I’m here to support you 😌😌
I shared this with the company, and now they have grippers. the balls are to prevent to snag your hair.
The tangle brush is no good for me it was ripping out my hair used it twice and never again 😢
I see the hang time with your twists!! 👍

Hey Lexi! I use a wide tooth comb only and not a brush. I guess cause I never tried a brush in my hair. That tangled teezer looks great 👍🏾!

I love your video quality 🤗 I’m definitely subbing 💋
Welcome to the fam 💛
Please always start at the very ends when detangling then move up...you placed the brush at the bottom but didn’t de tangle the ends first
Hey Lexi ❤
Did you try the Kenya Moore hair care ? I would love to hear your review 🤗
This looks like any other brush that people like us usually don't use👀👀👀
They do. You just have to know how to comb hair!
I have 3 wet brush it work for my hair it might have to do what hair products you use on your hair
The wet brush has soft flexible thin bristles... So it makes sense it doesn't work all that good for really thick curly kinky hair
They made a texture pro brush but then killed the line 🤣
Which brush should I use for definition?? Btw love your channel 💕!
My hair does not like this brush. I now use the Kazmaleje paddle comb. It’s love, detangles my hair with ease, it’s like a better version of finger detangling!
I love that paddle comb, I feel the same
It doesn't get all of the shed hairs out though.

I love your vibe 😩

Did you get it from Amazon or actual website lol

Hi! In this playlist I have videos on my current faves 💛 ruclips.net/p/PL2p19kbBPUA-H1WhtdfdxO0eyYm75PvFo
My wet brush is at the end of its cycle, I'll have to get another one.
its my 20 month old daughters favorite brush we lost it and she cried so bad my husband had to go to the store at 8pm lol 😆
I’ve seen that brush in the store many times. I was like Lexi nooo! Put the wet brush down don’t do it
lolol it wasnt awful but I'm good on it
pzesonnaly i realy like the sound of the brush
I used the Wet brush until I started seeing a Lot of my hair on the tips...Hated that!!!
I also think over time that could really contribute to hair loss idkkk
KandidKinks
I definitely agree💖
I hate wetbrush. None of them work for my hair. I do love my newest purchase the Behairful brush that has replaced everything else I use to detangle!
I was waiting Lexi cause I seen this brush in Walmart and wanted to see if it work on 4 type hair like ours before I try it but know I don't need it
Lol I’ve watched this video at least 5 times 😂 and now watching it the 6th, you’re making me love my tangle teezer more.
It sounds like it’s breaking your hair as it detangles.
FIRST!!!!🤩
Thank you.
I never like these brushes with these kinda bristles, I swear by my Denman brush :)
❤️❤️ the WET brush does nothing for my hair 🤦🏾♀️
What do you use to detangle?
Early!
First to comment! ❤️
🥰🙌🏾🙌🏾
The snagging was to much for me.
if you use a boat load of detangler/conditioner right before brushing is cheating
Wet brush has torn hair off mid shaft all over my head. Not a good idea false advertising
You're the only one with such a ridiculous experience!
