- No knitting required to make this cute miniature winter accessory that is the season's must-have item on every fashionable doll's wish list this year. That’s right, I still refuse to learn how to knit. Haha.

On the sixth day of Craftmas Dollightful gave to me, six doll-sized scarfs, FIVE POM POM SNOWMEN, four wreath ornaments, three doll-sized trees, two snowflake garlands, and a doll-sized stocking for the hearth!

This scarf is super cute. And the idea of folding a ribbon of paper to get the exact interval without doing any measuring is certainly a trick I'll be keeping in mind.

@@freddiehoy7224 the time stamp is referencing the unit of measurement (cm) which is used in Europe. Since many other crafters are in America (where we use the customary system) it's annoying to figure out the measurements. I hope that makes sense!
My friend and I were actually talking about making miniature scarfs for plushies earlier today, so this is a very pleasant Christmas surprise 🎄🎁
This is darling! The only thing I might suggest is to make a fringe, maybe a piece of fabric with slits cut into it, and put the edge into the open end of the scarf before sewing it closed, making a little fabric sandwich. The tassels still look really good, I just hate making them 🤣
a great tip is to make the fringe edges and inserting them into the edges of the scarf before sewing the ends of the scarf shut. it would save time on the hand stitching and might be easier if you cant hand sew it for whatever reason

hoooly hell- the use of floss (?) as the ends of the scarf is such a neat look. I always make little scarfs for my plushies, it's so much fun. its much more simple but it does the trick in lookin comfy 🥺✨
This is the most delightful crafting series ever! I love how each craft is simple and customizable, and all on theme. I don't have a dedicated crafting space right now, but next year this is going to be so fun.

this looks so cute! but if anyone does not want to put so much effort into it, I think a 'simple' slim rectangle out of soft fabric would already work as well!
I prefer using knit fabric or thin fleece, it'll be way more cozier.

Quick tip for americans. Most rulers have centemeters as well as inches on them.
That is the cutest little scarf!!! And you make it look so easy lol. I need to use my sewing machine more. :D
There's a sewing hack in which you put a tube you need turned inside out over a straw then push something (like a chopstick or similar) through the straw to pull the fabric inside out, might be easier than the safety pin method

I adore these mini episodes! I wish that you could do more during the rest of the year. The details and moments of inspiration really makes it easier and seem more attainable. For a person like me who has sevier ADHD, the more detailed that's put into a tutorial the more likely that I can stay with the project to it's completion. So I really enjoy these little highlights.

I have a wonderful challenge for you, make/customise a doll with as much sculpting you possibly can
This is so cute❤
stitching the embroidery on probably looks much nicer in the long run, but I bet for a simpler and less hand-stitching heavy job (if anyone doubts their skill in that or has shaky hands and minimal patience like me lol) it would be easier to sandwich the floss inside the fabric tube after folding in the end, before the end is sewn shut. If the machine setting has a tight enough stitch the floss shouldn't slip out.
