I think the greatest plot twist was the Ymir's past. In both, eldian and marley histroy, ymir is portrayed as a powerful person that obtained the power of titans where as in reality she was just a slave who accidentally came in contact with the source of titans and was forced to suffer for eternity
And the fact that this story was manipulated many times and is an allegory to the Bible makes it in my opinion the best plot twist because you got different sides to the story just like religion, everyone has their ”version” in the end the truth is nothing like it.

No, it was barely whispered, must have misheard it. Which is the exact feeling Erin has in that moment, disbelief rather than anything else. Then, as the scene goes on, you realize just like Erin does that you didn’t mishear a thing.
For me the Plot-Twist at the end was one of the biggest. --> Where Eren tells Armin that he was the one who send the titan to their house so that Berthold wouldn't die at that moment.
The fact that the writer knew what he was doing from the very beginning so it seems very authentic unlike some american writers who create unnecessary plot twist out of nowhere so that they could create hype.
