Been rocking the Fengmi T1 for like 4 years now, UST Tri Laser 4K Dolby Vision and HDR and it was like $2000? It sells international as the Formovie Theater and I think it cost double. OLED is amazing but I'll take my 120" screen any day for the immersion and experience. 4 player Mario Kart you get your own 60" TV lol, and the screen rejects light very well, vs a TV that shows terrible reflections. Being a UST makes the convience factor huge, we can walk right infront of it and even do stuff like play motion sports games. I do have to put it in gaming mode else noticible latency, but in gaming mode its not bad. This item I think would be great as your grab and go projector to take to a friends house for outside movie time.
I bought this projector recently. As you can see from this video, it is incredibly difficult to set up If you want a pretty much flat screen as this projector does not come with any form of lens shift at all meaning you have to get it at just the right height and angle. Otherwise you'll have to use keystoneing which we all know reduce the quality of the image and personally when I spend this much on a projector, I want to make sure I get the best picture possible. Also the black levels were pretty bad in HDR (in some scenes I couldn't see half of people's faces lol) So for a dedicated home theatre space, this is definitely not the right choice. But for portable use cases, I think it's pretty great. I'll be returning mine and probably getting something like the BenQ w2710 or the HT4550 which has both vertical and horizontal land shift which means you can basically place it almost anywhere and still have a perfectly flat straight image right where you want it, without the need for keystoning. The motorised lens cover was cool I guess 🤣 Oh yeah and it also has no mounting screws for ceiling or wall mounting So definitely do your research to know if this is the projector you need. I hope you enjoy your ultra 😇
I turned off the HDR and the picture stays nice and bright with great contrast. I am just not a fan of dark movies. Seems like a gimmick. But the picture is amazing with it off. You need about 11 to 12 ft to go 120 inches. The optical zoom should get you in the right place along with the ability to customize your screen size to practically any size.
If you are using a streaming stick... you can turn it off in the settings. If on the projector, you can only do it in certain setups where you scroll down further and set from auto to off. Make sure you do the updated software. They just updated it last month.
Great video as always. Just need to ask if can position the projector in the corner and project it to the wall? Secondly, My wall is painted white wouldn't work? I don't really want to change the paint or buy rolling screen
I just got mine today. I love the image quality and brightness (had a cheap yaber k2s) this thing blows it out of the water. Unfortunately I’m having issues getting it to adjust to my 120” screen though. That is the only download I am seeing with it so far. I had it head up w the screen but the projector kind of points upwards?? Where did you get that adjustable tripod !?
Very true! Yeah casual gaming is totally fine. But if you’re coming from a good spec TV / 120hz / 0.03ms etc then there’s a noticeable difference. Just depends on!
Would you ever consider switching from a TV to a Projector?

I haven't had a tv since 2017. I currently use a BBianlyy native 4k projector ($180.00 on Amazon with coupon) with a 151 inch screen.
You may enjoy your picture a little more with a grey wall or screen. It has more than enough power even on really dark walls.
Thanks for the tip!
Thank you for show on video so amazing. this big 150" on your wall ? or 120" ? which one ? Let me know

I’m thinking of returning mine as well! Let me do some research on the two projectors you mentioned because I am new to the projector scene !

@@mikelt31 hey mikeit I did some adjusting and now I am in love. I finally got a big full 120” picture. How do I turn off hdr?

I use the setting that automatically brightens it when it detects brighter rooms and I have no issues with all lights on and sun shining in.
If you can see if this "Paint On Screen Projection/Projector Screen Paint - S1 Ultimate Contrast-Gallon G007' or yourself own.

Yes and yes! Should work just fine for both of those situations.

Did you try the game mode supposed to be 18ms what about that??
Can this do 3D as well?😊
@@zafod101 Yup
Hisense c1 has Dolby vision, 3 Lazer source, higher contrast and similar price
And pretty bad for gaming from what i've read
30 ms of input lag is not bad for casual games.
You can even put it in performance mode to get 18ms of input lag

This be nice to have
You need a screen or projector paint. Then do another review, results will be different
