First time on your channel… hi, Wendy 👋 Thx for lovely estate sale finds today. If you like pronunciation info, Hobé sounds like •ho-BAY• and Weiss sounds like •WICE•. Most viewers will get it either way 😉
Pop-it beads! I remember
The beads that use to pull apart we called them pop beads, they were popular in the 50s
They probably belonged to my mom. I just have a strong memory of them.

Thank you. Not my everyday finds but it is not to find several collectible brooches all at once.
Loved this video, thank you! I fondly remember playing with my Mom's poppy beads we called them, what fun thinking of them now. I just subscribed to your channel!
Thanks for watching and subscribing. I had no idea how many people would remember those beads. I thought it was just me.
I had a green pop bead necklace as a girl - loved it!
That Vendome brooch is amazing!
Thank you. It is my favorite brooch so far that I have found.
Pop beads! They still make a version..
Beautiful broaches, I definitely love your favourite broach. Thank you for the information on makers and the help with resources too. Thanks for sharing 👍👏😍

I have a light green pop bead necklace
I thought I was the only one who remembered these but they still seem to be around.
Wow! Amazing treasures!
Thank you. I don't find these sales every day but they are the special ones. I probably could have bought the whole glass case full of brooches.
The child ' s toy that was made out of plastic,, and you could pop the beads together. Then you could pop the beads apart. Happy Snack Food Day!!!
That's probably what I was thinking of. I just have a memory of being able to pull pearls apart.
There were many toys made like that. I had a pop together train set , but it fell down the cold air return. Thank you for highlighting my comment. 💛💘💝💝🧡🧡🧡❤❤❤❣❣❣💚💚💚💚💚💙💙💜💜🤎🤎💕💕💕💟💟💖💖💖💓💓💋💋💌😻😻😹😹😻😻💌💌💋💋💋💓💓💓💖💖💟💟💕💕💔💔💗💗🌸🌸🌸🌞🌞🍀🍀🦋🦋🌹🌹💞💞🌹🦋🦋🍀🌞🌞🌸💗💔💔💔💔💕💕💟💟💟💖💓💋
In the early 1960s “pop beads” were popular and worn by women. I have sone green ones that belonged to my mom. I remember playing with them. Could make a necklace and bracelet from them . Pop! 3:34
@@paulapaul4512 It is so funny how everyone remembers them. I thought it was just me. Not sure if they were my mom's.
