    Congratulations... Thinking about getting one..

    You've sold me. I went and picked up a 14ft dump trailer today and put a deposit on a new e26. Hopefully won't have to wait too many months for it to get built. Want some projects done by the time spring rolls around.

      Awesome! It is a great combo. The amount of work you can do with the two is nearly endless. I'd be lost without the two. Hopefully they get it to you in short order!

    Great video, thank you! Looking at the job I'm thinking about and watching that big rock get handled has me convinced the e26 is the machine I need. Hopefully I can find a good used one.

      So far it has been an awesome machine. Have already put 50 hours of jobs on it.

    For a e26 thats a beast of a machine. You could probably get enough jobs to go full time with the variety of work the kubota and that can do

    • @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC
      @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC  3 года назад

      I agree, there is definitely a lot of work that these two machines can do together and keep it on a budget since the e26 uses the same 25hp Kubota engine as the bx23s. Hopefully this year proves that correct!

    Nice the engine hoods have hydraulics. My Kubota U25 just has some sticks lol. My favorite brand is bobcat but I got my U25 at a good deal. Will be getting a Bobcat E26 in the future God willing.

      Ha nice. I was very interested in the U25/27 series of Kubota when I was looking, but just never found a deal on one. Hope you are able to upgrade soon!

    Wow a lot more powerful than I thought. It moved that big rock with ease. I've seen a lot of after market buckets that had the same issue with the quick attach buckets. I'll bet your 3' bucket isn't a Bobcat like the 12" that has no issues? Too bad you didn't have the excavator when you landscaped the front yard with those big stumps and digging the ledge for your back patio. You need to build a pole equipment barn up in the back ledge where your fireplace sits.

      Definitely has no lack of power for its size. That could be it, though I did get it straight from the dealer. I will ask them about it this week. And yes, I definitely need some more storage/protection for all the equipment I am amassing here!

    Wow. Super jealous. That poor BX just got majorly demoted, haha. Not surprised though as you hinted at getting an excavator. Assume it fits in your dump trailer? First the new , full size truck, then the nice dump trailer, now the EX. I think a tracked skid steer is in your long term future, then a commercial garage, etc., etc., haha. Hope it all works out.

    • @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC
      @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC  3 года назад

      Yeah, my dad and I have been discussing it seriously since last fall due to the upcoming renovations. Yup, fits the trailer. We got that with the expectation of a larger machine (as well as the trucks). I for sure would love to get a tracked skid steer, but I think that one will have to wait until this becomes more of a full time job!

    Great video! We're looking at purchasing one here soon... Wondering what size trailer you have since we have a 14 footer hoping it'll fit... What size buckets are they on the video... Looking to purchase Rhinox attachments and want to compare! Keep up on the great videos! Thanks!

      Thanks! We have a 14' dump trailer that it fits in. Grading bucket is 3' and digging is 18". Have fun with yours if you get it!

      Same here. I use Rhinox buckets on my E10 and am happy with them. I also have a 14’ trailer and was wondering if it would fit. I guess I’ll have to upgrade my truck to a 3/4 ton though.

    I have the exact same machine, same year and also had trouble XChanging my bucket for the ripper. I had to use a lot of PL-100 to do the tricks. I am at 50 hours now and must change oil and oil filter. That oil filter seems to be pretty nasty to access. Did you have trouble servicing it?

    • @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC
      @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC  3 года назад +2

      Yea I ended up angle grinding down the grading bucket receiver section
      goes on nice and easy now! The oil filter is pretty brutal to get to, I ended up getting to it with my hands/belt style filter wrench, though had to do small turns. Luckily, all the other items are easy to get to!

    New subscriber here. Love your videos and have been watching them a while. I was getting ready to buy an E 20 and opted to go with the same machine you did the 26 for the cab. Very happy with my decision. As a new owner I have a question. Are you happy with the 36 inch bucket? Would you go that same route again. I have a 24 inch tooth bucket and I’m thinking I would like to get the 36 inch smooth similar to yours. Bobcat is telling me I have to step up to a class three bucket if I buy the bobcat bucket. And they’re not sure it fits. So is your 36 inch a bobcat brand. Should say on the back of the bucket behind the quick attach. And if so would you go that route again? Thanks in advance and thanks for making great videos.

      Nice! Sorry for the late reply. Yes my 36" bucket is a class 3. I would 100% get the same bucket again for the 26 as it handles it well and a flat edge bucket is a must for doing various grading/cleanup work.

    • @tman7392
      @tman7392 Год назад +1

      Thank you for the reply. I just ordered a class three flat digging bucket two days ago👍 I rewatch your video a couple of times and I think your flat bucket in the video is a class 4 grading that’s about 10 pounds lighter than the class three digging bucket but a slightly larger capacity. So I think they’re really close. Either way thank you again. Keep up the great videos

    Great video. Been bouncing back and fourth between this and an E20. What’s the price on the 26?

    • @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC
      @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC  2 года назад +2

      We got ours for $43k with both buckets. It was definitely the best priced machine of its class in my area at the time.

    The brand does not matter to me either. The good dealer support is as important as the brand. What brand is the engine and where is your bobcat made?

    • @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC
      @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC  3 года назад +1

      The engine is a 24 hp Kubota, and im not sure where its assembled. I think its assembled in the US, but of course Doosan owns Bobcat.

    I know how many hours you have on your BX backhoe!!! Just wondering if You're runnig SAE controls in your E26 ?

    • @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC
      @CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC  2 года назад

      I had around 400 hrs on the BX23s at that point and ran the E26 in the same pattern: ISO - right joystick is bucket/stick and left joystick is boom/house

    • @jamespeyton2830
      @jamespeyton2830 2 года назад

      @@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC So the same pattern the BX23S came from the factory. I was thinking that's SAE (Back Hoe).
      Thanks for the reply, I love your videos. I've watched them all at least once or twice!!
