    Congrats on the new machine! I got the e42 a couple years ago and love it! I use it on the property and the first thing I did was unplug that beeping alarm because I got tired of pushing the button!

    • @TKCL

      LOL I am getting that alarm asap, I see where it's at. The E42 is perfect, I inquired about one but they discontinued them for the E48. That's the max model I would ever feel comfortable towing.

    Hello friends, Pastor Fred up here in Rockwood TN. I love watching your videos, knowing I will probably never do the stuff your are doing. HOWEVER!!!! Finally! I used a 2020 model of this unit to re-open a driveway that had been fenced in 20 years before, to remove 18 trees and prep the ground for putting new fruit trees in my orchard! I enjoyed that so much!!! Hope you get it to do what you need, which I don't doubt.... Have a great day!

    These new Bobcat machines are very, very nice. I rented an E51 and Skidsteer back in early March to fill in my pool. These machines are smooth, balanced, powerful and operate like a dream. I was impressed. I am used to using (well-taken care of) Takeuchi stuff from the local Sunbelt store.

    Good choice. The dealer being fairly local and reliable matters a LOT. Bobcat is a fine choice and I think you did the smart thing going with a name brand. The Chinese machines are fine for a homeowner doing yard work or whatever. But your property and what you want to do is way beyond that.

    I have that same machine I bought a couple years back. It's been flawless. The speaker for that travel alarm is very easy to disconnect! LOL Also, it's very easy to run a quick connect from the battery right out the little speaker slots in the front next to the boom for a solar trickle charger. Tint your windows with some cheap tint and it really helps with the heat in the cab. You'll love it and keep finding things to do with it. I went with a 36 inch mower from Rut Manufacturing for mine.

    • @TKCL
      @TKCL  7 месяцев назад

    You are going to love having a excavator. I have a Johndeere 50 mini ex. I use it way more than my skidsteer. I guess since you talked about the hydraulic bypass, you must be getting a brush or mulcher head. I absolutely love my brush cutter. I can reach over fence line, creek banks, things you can't dream of with skidsteer. Make sure you keep the cab a/c filter changes with the the engine air filter. It will keep you a/c working longer. Congratulations buddy.

      @TKCL that is what I have is the 42" rotary cutter. I have been in commercial and industrial concrete for 30 years. Didn't want to spend the $$ for a mulcher. I go out and do some work with my cutter but mostly for personal. Extra $10k did not seem practical. Can't wait to see all your set up. I still want one of your rocket stoves! I am finally getting my shop cleaned out from finishing our house so since I can buy one of yours, LOL, I'll copy your design.

    we have a concrete flatwork and asphalt business and in the past we used a skid steer and hammer for driveway removals and asphalt demo. In Today's World, if we can get a dump trailer next to the Mini Ex we use a Mini for the job and it go's very fast and the job stays CLEAN. The Biggest deal for Me when purchasing are New Mini was making sure there was no emissions and that meant getting a 25HP machine. We already have a 2017 304e2 cat 40.5 hp (9000lbs machine) machine and YES it outperforms are 25hp machine hands down and it's a night and day difference between 40hp and 25hp. Soooo do your research and then do some more research because the Min Ex world is massively different from machine brands to machine HP and options. ended up with a 235

    • @TKCL

    I think this is just about the perfect size. I like the bigger models, but they’re just too hard to transport and get ridiculously expensive. This you could actually get on a trailer and probably in your dump trailer and take it over to your dad’s or wherever you needed to go but it still big enough to get the job done not be too bouncy like the smaller ones.
    I was dreaming and looking at these and the Kabota KX 40 and in that size range, trying to keep it around nine or 10,000 pounds so it was still pretty easy to Trailer without getting into a CDL and all that hassle. I think it’s just a perfect option for somebody who’s not in the construction industry or using it professionally. even a lot of professionals will try to stay in that range just because it’s more reasonable to deal with. I think it’s a great choice.

    • @TKCL

      I agree! I could go one size up, but it starts taxing my trailer and truck. This one should be very capable.
