Oh if only I could borrow this up here in Canada. I'll be painting my two storey house next week. Guess I'll just use my extension ladder tho. Great add-on for sure. Congrats.
I've had a Blue Diamond skid steer adapter with pallet forks and manbasket on my 5 ton mini Ex. It's hard to believe this isn't seen more often, as that basically turns an excavator into an outdoor man lift for very little money.
I can see the wheels turning Andrew. The forks alone give a multiple to the number of uses for your excavator. I'm excited to see what the thinker comes up with next!
Great video Andrew Those machines can do so many things Would like to see some fence projects with the e35 maybe post driver or augar God bless you and Tiffany
Not sure if you'd use it that way but If you really need to lift something heavy, you can fab up a set extenders with wheels at the end that reach out from the plow to give you some front-end stability. All-in-all, very cool attachment!! 💪🔥
I see some amazing ideas stemming from this. As a side note, whats in all of the big Kobalt boxes under the chop shop shed? Maybe big storage shelves for an eventual shop clean up?
This is cool. And you could just put a big box or a basket on there and bring multiple attachments with you like two sizes of buckets and the forestry mulcher so if you just drove to the other side of the property in the excavator you could put all three attachments in one bucket and attach it to this, with chainsaws and all that and you don’t have to Trailer on your property back-and-forth to get different attachments you want to switch out that day. I can see a ton of uses for this.
I don't know if the mini x has the flow to run them but the skid steer stump grinder and forestry mower would be awesome for trail maintenance and clearing limbs could be cool with that limbsaw like stoney ridge farm showed about a month ago
I just saw another video of something that would be awesome with this. It was an attachment for digging out ditches or cleaning a drainage ditch. It was basically like a landscape rake with the curved times reversed on an excavator could just get down into a ditch full of weeds and leaves and just kind of scoop it out like a big rake on the end of your excavator And the one in the video was about 15 feet wide but that would be great if you have a landscape rake to use that to clean out ponds or something like that where you don’t want to lift the water out with the bucket just leaves and weeds. 🤔
Do you have the link for your manlift basket? I went through your Amazon storefront and I don’t see it and I can’t find the original video you posted back when you bought it.
Is there a Bobcat app that will let you control the excavator rig remotely while you're in the basket? That could be really useful since you tend to work alone. Also, leave the cartpenter's hammers to the nailing and use a ball peen on the attachments, please. Watching a nailin' hammer run into a piece of steel is a trigger... 😀🤣😆🙃
@@TKCL just a re-reply for the algorithm :) I find it easier to smack stuff like that with a heavier hammer. Cheers that it's not a splintering wooden handle tho'! 🙂
wow but i hope you will make some tests with a load of 350 pounds in the basket before you will climb over a hole at the full extention of the boom, have a nice day
Unless you have load holding valves on the cylinders you really shouldn't be using it for man lifting. But being a home gamer, you can get away with it but it still isn't even close to safe.
@@TKCL You can't support all that weight reasonably with a pole. It also pivots in several spots so you'd have to support each boom section and bucket pivot to prevent it moving at each pivot point, both up and down. Stopping it from going down at one end doesn't stop it from pivoting unless you only do it with everything extended fully out. You might stop it from creeping but the more the pressure bleeds off the more weight is going to be on your brace. If a cylinder seal or hose fails you are coming down with the boom section it is on unless you have an immaculate brace built. I worry that the pole will give you a false sense of safety. I'm just trying to look out for you. Obviously you can do whatever you want to, I just don't want to see you get hurt.
Please do not trust your life to hydraulics not designed to lift humans! There is no safety valve in the cylinder in case of catastrophic hose failure. Is this failure common? No. But I have personally experienced this event on the farm. Equipment just being transported across the yard and BANG, hose blew out, no special load, it just failed catastrophically. The equipment hit the ground instantly. This can be you on the end of an excavator arm... Please go rent a boom lift and learn to operate it safely folks! Don't put humans in this!
River fishing from the excavator?
I LOVE your thinking! PERFECT!
lol iteresting!
Yep
Can also hold up clay target traps on a sporting clays course
Now perfect time for bigger excavator!
I wish! You paying? 🤣
This might be the coolest attachment I have ever seen.
It is very handy!
Oh if only I could borrow this up here in Canada. I'll be painting my two storey house next week. Guess I'll just use my extension ladder tho. Great add-on for sure. Congrats.
It will be so nice for things like that.
Hi, Andrew! Congratulations! You deserve the best. I love all your equipment.
Thanks so much!

Oh yes, the wheels are for sure turning! This really is a handy attachment.

That's EXACTLY the future attachment I plan to get.

Oh you’re going to wear that man lift out with the build at the river property! Can’t wait!!
I 100 percent agree
That is an interesting attachment.
You are so talented. What a great idea.
Thank you! 😊
Hi Andrew, that looks like an interesting piece of equipment. Great video, I love all this equipment you try out and use. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
We are blessed! Thanks for watching
I see some amazing ideas stemming from this.

Yes! I caught those on sale, a shop cleanup is in my future.
Hello Andrew you have so much equipment now that what a difference it is going to make with the cabin built good video
My goodness it sure is!
Your going to need a goose neck with a top deck to haul all your attachments. 💪🤣
And a duromax 🤣
@@TKCL fo sho!!! Lol.
looks like a good thing to have . best to all john

Exactly, it's more useful than meets the eye.
Next thing you know is Andrew's equipment production shop!
That would be cool!
Need to build one of those splitting things for superbig rounds like on outdoors with the Morgans
Been working on ideas for a few months now. I plan to make that happen.
Nice attachment. Stay safe
Great video. Thank you for sharing😊
very cool! I see a water nozzle attachment to that bad boy!
Oh boy, another good idea!
@@TKCL incase of them tall fires or you get bored and water your food plot!
Good day to all.
I could see using the grappler on there to help with a widow maker tree
That's probably too heavy at full reach, but that is a neat idea.
Need to get a lane shark to trim the trees up high.
I got something way better than that ruclips.net/video/TqZYH1SNQyk/видео.html
Hydraulic pole saw would be nice.
I don't need that often, but it sure is nice when you need a cut up high.
Andrews, build a boom pole for the excavator
Genius. Great information.
Hope you are doing well!
Now you need a post driver and post hole drilling attachments.
That's exactly an attachment that's on my mind. We have MILES of fencing to do.
Another game changer!!!
I love it!

For sure not enough flow for the skid steer versions, but Baumalight does make excavator specific ones.
You can use the bucket to load the dump trailer faster

You and I are on the same page....
A rope ladder might come in handy if ever by yourself and get stuck up there ..
Might be a good idea to stake the ladder ....world of trouble if it falls over while you are in the bucket....but it would be good content 😜
VIRAL content 😉🤣

@@TKCL just a re-reply for the algorithm :) I find it easier to smack stuff like that with a heavier hammer. Cheers that it's not a splintering wooden handle tho'! 🙂
Andrew what about attaching a grapple does that seem feasible?
It's too heavy, especially at full reach.
Hey Andrew, you got the lens cap on
????
Get yourself a full quick hitch no hammering buddy
you're totally gonna build a log splitter attachment aren't you
LOL that's not the current plan, however I HAVE been working on that with someone else for a few months now.
Hmmm....how confusing are the joystick movements for workin bass-ack-wards? That could be mentally challenging.
It takes a minute for sure.
But who did it first?!
@@EverythingElliott that's the real question, we don't know lol. I've had my video edited, just didn't know YOU HAD ONE 🤣

Why is there no video?
Huh? Close your app and start over, no one else is having issues. Might be specific to you.

Thus the reason for the support post I mentioned.
This is a real bad idea, not safe at all. Any weight out will over balance the machine. Far better to use the right equipment !
This machine can easily handle the weight of a person at full reach.
