Hi I’m going next week the first week of July, I’m coming from Arkansas where do you arrive to take the ship what is the name of this place where you pay to get on the ship and how much was it per person hey?
When our kids were young, I think we spent every single weekend either at Ship, or Cat Island. Hard to believe how many people live on the coast and either don't really know about the barrier islands, or just don't ever go. Get your own boat and you can bring pretty much anything you want (except glass bottles and dogs).
Thanks for joining us on our journey to Ship Island. Looks like you had a great time with the family too. Been considering the Sony Alpha a6500 - you been pleased with it? What lens are you using? Happy to sub and support your excellent work!
Americas Parks the a6500 is great for travel but the AF is not good. I basically bought it for the 120fps. I am a Canon person for my day job but figured I would try the Sony. Not a fan of their menus either. If you are considering it buy like 5 extra batteries FYI. Decent camera for travel Vlog fun though. I just use the kit lens and the cheap 50mm 1.2f.
@@EExplores Appreciate the feedback and fair warnings. Really having a tough time narrowing things down on the "right" camera. The lament of all photographers! lol! Something light, great AF/picture quality, 4k, external mic port, flip screen, mainly video work for vlogging. Any suggestions? Willing to "bite the bullet" on the price this time.
Americas Parks I would seriously look into the EOS R. I have used the c200 & c300 professionally and the dual pixel AF is amazing ( which the eos R has ) and a flip screen, to boot.
@@EExplores Alright, last question and then this nuisance will leave you alone! :) From where do you source your video editing transitions? Sweet stuff!
It is a pretty cool place. I will admit it is hard to compete with Florida beaches though. We love Florida and head there every year. Thanks for the comment
I am glad this is still posted. Down to earth infotainment. This place is on my bucket list radar, but I keep forgetting.
How far of a walk was it from the boat to the beach? I’m going with someone that has breathing problems, I want to make sure he can walk the distance.
I am also wondering this

Go to Gulfport Harbor and you can get your tickets there. Make sure to wear sandals because it is very hot here currently
@@EExplores I checked and it’s telling me to go to jones park Gulfport were the ferry is. It’s that correct?

WOW! I have not seen that in years. Me, my Uncle Ron and my cousins went fishing there (I was 10 years old at that time).
My wife and I went last Friday, 8/24/19. This was our first trip to Ship Island and we had a great time.
Great video! Thanks for all the good info👍🏻

Darrell Benton you should. Bring a backpack with goodies. And sandals
You should just go all out and crank the music some more and add subtitles.
Nah
Just got back from there!
How was the water this time of year?
