Power is not everything. If you want power get a fire blade. Forza has plenty enough power. We tour two up on ours,loaded, no issues. Easily does 70mph and hey, who wants to go quicker than that anyway? If you do, the default is, again, a fire blade. Horses for courses. We got Honda, because we want it to work.
Very interesting - how long have you had the Forza and are there any niggles so far - what about servicing costs? Am looking at one of these as my next two wheeler ( along with the CB500X and NC750) - I like the appeal of the storage space and how low it is - I hired a Suzuki 125cc scooter in Portugal for four days and with the wife on the back we covered 400 miles - had a great time and you can easily see how these things sell so well in Europe - I've been riding beemers for 20 yrs (1200 RT, 2 x 1100RT, an 1150 GS and my last one which was an 1100R - the wife would deffo be happier with me riding a scooter and I did have a Silverwing for a few months but it just didn't grab me - this one though - I like the look, the mpg, the ease of use, electric screen - have spoken to a chap who had ridden his up the mway from London to Scotland without any problems, easily keeping up with the traffic - the only gripe he had was that he felt the suspension was a bit harsh, but that was only on badly maintained roads. @@steve1962 Steve, you'll love it mate. Bear in mind, it is what it is and you won't be disappointed. 25 odd bhp is plenty. I'm past racing around anyway, and the forza will do 90 ish mph if pushed on a long enough road, not that I have! Yes, the only gripe is suspension, but all scooters suffer from this, by the nature of their design. We've set ours to softest setting and has smoothed the ride a little, no where near R1250 GS levels, but acceptable and only ever gets numbing on stupidly bad roads. Take one out for a test ride and see how you get on. I just love the simplicity of it these days. Let me know how you get on if you do get one. Word of warning: Don't get mis sold a honda service plan on any new bike, unless you are a serious high mileage user, it is a rip off for annual mileage of less than around 6 to 7k. Barter your first service in with new bike and you'll be sorted. If you don't mind being on a scooter (have got over the usual biker small genital syndrome of having to be seen on a "proper bike") go for it. Having said that, the forza has serious road presence as standard and even more loaded up, like ours. Good luck chap.

Second at 3.5k miles was about the same. 8k service mileage intervals. No new oil filter on second service! Services are money rackets, but a must to maintain warranty. Personally, and from experience, barter in your first service, or knock it off the cost of bike. DO NOT get fleeced with service plan. Tyre life is pretty good, 4.2 k miles and rear at 50% wear, front 45%wear. I am a steady grandad type rider though, so the excellent pirrelli diablos will burn quicker if you're heavy wristed! Tyre grip is excellent, wet or dry. I always have traction control on, for added safety, especially as so much diesel/grime on roads these days. Hope that helps matey. Any other bits you need to know, drop a line! Had since June 2019. Only niggles are it's built in Italy, not Japan. If you're happy with Italian build....fine, but nothing is up to Jap quality, bar pre 90's german made stuff. It's still not bad though!
I have one Forza. For me it have a lot of power being a 270cc engine. I travelled with it about 1600 km to Granada and back to Valencia and it was a very good experience. It's true that Yamaha have more power but the difference isn't very big.

Hi, I use a Garmin camera which records G-Metrix data and which can be rendered into the video using the Virb software for PC and/or the Garmin Virb app. Hope this helps. Have fun with your new Honda.
Was you really disappointed with the power or was you just expecting more?I read a few things saying it tops out at around 140 to 145 . Does this sound about right ?
@@garybrown6964 Hello Gary, you are right. The max speed is about 150 kph. When I was talking about the power I compared it to my 125 scooter and I expected more from this 300 scooter. To me it seemed it had just slighty more power than my Yamaha NMAX. But that's of course just my impression.
i tested ride the xmax 300 and forza 300 until 100-120 kph have little diferents about the power , 120+kph xmax 300 looks the power . xmax didnt like the brakes and the abs , at the corners forza for me its little more massiveness . Forza has a bad front susspension and and the xmax rear susspension from the category. Forza has a little bit more quality . The bike can travel at the same speed but with more acceleration the xmax and more comfortable seat position at forza . In conclution its 2 very nice scooters at 300cc (This is only my opinion)
Hi, this goes together with the Garmin Virb Ultra 30 camera. It's G-Metrix data as they call it and comes straight from the camera sensors, except for the temp sensor, which I bought separately and conects via ANT technology. Much better info than from the GoPros. Unfortunately the camera did not have image stabilization at 4k so I don't use it anymore.
The Honda is more refined than the similar Yamaha XMax, but it's heavier, plus its oversquare engine can't be expected to produce as much torque as the Yamaha's longer stroke engine. I think you'll find the XMax has the "power" (torque) the Forza lacks.
You keep on about the lack of power .... it's a 300cc scooter, not a sports bike! The bike is built for commuting and practicality, which I think it is excellent for. I have a Honda SH300i (same engine) and it's a great machine for what it's designed for. Horses for courses my friend.
Hello, I was thinking about my 125cc and was comparing it in my mind. When I test rode it, I expected quite a bit more than 125 but I didn't it. I have now tested the new Honda Forza 350 (2021) and I cannot complain about lack of power anymore. If I had the money, I would buy the new Forza 350 now.

Aber selbst high end Scooter haben weniger Leistung wie Motorräder derselben ccm klasse. Für die Stadt braucht man aber nur 0-50 14s das schafft jeder ;) Landstraße Max 100, auch Autobahn ... da wird’s kritisch ;) Aber in 4s auf 100 und Max mind 160 wäre schon nice. PS ah das 650et video hatte ich schon gesehen ;)

Ich bin mit meiner Honda Forza 300 sehr zu frieden. Habe jetzt ca. 3000 km runter und muß sagen, dass ich sehr gerne mit ihr fahre, manchmal fahre ich 300 km am Stück. Danach brauche ich zwar eine Pause, doch dann möchte ich gleich wieder weiter fahren.Der Tank mit 11,5l ist zwar ausreichend groß, könnte jedoch meiner Meinung nach gerne 15 l haben. Dann muß man nicht immer nach 350 km tanken. Das elektrische Windshield ist meiner Meinung nach total überbewertet. Alle youtuber, die den Forza 300 getestet hatten schwärmten von diesem elektrifizierten Windshield. Ich bin nicht gerade groß mit meinen 172cm, dennoch stört mich in der höchsten Position des Windshields diese Turbulenz. Abhilfe habe ich mir durch einen Scheibenspoiler (Louis) , nun ist es angenehm. Andere Hersteller schaffen das auch mit einem festen Windshield. Zu der Verarbeitung der Honda gibt es für mich überhaupt nichts auszusetzen. Super tolle Qualität, der Motor ist unauffällig durchzugsstark, ab 125km/h bis Vmax 145km/h etwas zäh aber wenn man gerne bequem dahingleiten möchte, ist die Forza 1.Adresse.
Hi, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, it is not so easy as it seems :) I have a Garmin and there is no audio adapter available anymore. I'm using audio via Bluetooth and my helmet headset and that's why it is so crappy. Waiting for GoPro 8 with internal audio connector ;)

This additional audio adapter for GoPro is absolutely the worst solution there is, and the price as well. Also, I have done some checking and here in Europe it is not available anymore as well. Don't know why! On Amazon they took it off.

No need to nag about the Forza lacking "power" the way you ride it in this video... I mean, you´re barely exceeding 40 km/h, for God´s sake! Try giving it the beans sometime, because it provides good enough torque for a 300. If you expected a rocketship, you should opt for the Kawa H2. That would have you flopping from the bars.

I'd say not really. If I had the choice in this class though, I would go for the Yamaha XMAX300.
it is absolutly no problem. I've had an Honda Forza 300 2020 and i travel to Greece. It is no problem to travel with it

Ich bin mit meiner Honda Forza 300 sehr zu frieden. Habe jetzt ca. 3000 km runter und muß sagen, dass ich sehr gerne mit ihr fahre, manchmal fahre ich 300 km am Stück. Danach brauche ich zwar eine Pause, doch dann möchte ich gleich wieder weiter fahren.Der Tank mit 11,5l ist zwar ausreichend groß, könnte jedoch meiner Meinung nach gerne 15 l haben. Dann muß man nicht immer nach 350 km tanken. Das elektrische Windshield ist meiner Meinung nach total überbewertet. Alle youtuber, die den Forza 300 getestet hatten schwärmten von diesem elektrifizierten Windshield. Ich bin nicht gerade groß mit meinen 172cm, dennoch stört mich in der höchsten Position des Windshields diese Turbulenz. Abhilfe habe ich mir durch einen Scheibenspoiler (Louis) , nun ist es angenehm.
Andere Hersteller schaffen das auch mit einem festen Windshield. Zu der Verarbeitung der Honda gibt es für mich überhaupt nichts auszusetzen. Super tolle Qualität, der Motor ist unauffällig durchzugsstark, ab 125km/h bis Vmax 145km/h etwas zäh aber wenn man gerne bequem dahingleiten möchte, ist die Forza 1.Adresse.

Hi, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, it is not so easy as it seems :) I have a Garmin and there is no audio adapter available anymore. I'm using audio via Bluetooth and my helmet headset and that's why it is so crappy. Waiting for GoPro 8 with internal audio connector ;)
@@BenalRida I assumed everyone is using a GoPro these days. My mistake. I had no idea about the GoPro 8 features roadmap. Seems interesting. I'll do some research now.
@@brentwood4789 Well, to be honest, I just made it up, but I think it's about time they introduce that what they have taken away since GoPro 5 or 6?!? This additional audio adapter for GoPro is absolutely the worst solution there is, and the price as well. Also, I have done some checking and here in Europe it is not available anymore as well. Don't know why! On Amazon they took it off.
@@BenalRida There are a few users on YT, one I particularly watch is DucatiNYC ruclips.net/user/vassili1234 who uses a GoPro HERO7 black and a cheap external mic and works amazing.
@@brentwood4789 Hello Brent, as I said I had looked into changing the sound setup for awhile already, but you inspired me to do this as soon as possible. Just ordered the GoPro 7 and the mic adapter. :) Keep tuned in for videos with my new setup and hopefully with better sound.
No need to nag about the Forza lacking "power" the way you ride it in this video... I mean, you´re barely exceeding 40 km/h, for God´s sake! Try giving it the beans sometime, because it provides good enough torque for a 300. If you expected a rocketship, you should opt for the Kawa H2. That would have you flopping from the bars.
Hello, I don't understand why you just cannot accept what my impressions were when I rode this scooter? I have ridden a lot of bikes and scooters and why can I not compare these which are in one category like the Yamaha XMAX300? Are we only allowed to say only positive things in RUclips videos?
