I need help so I checked on my female mice this morning bc my one has be looking a little sick (clover) (it might be stress bc my one girl Opal is on medication and has to be separated for now I checked to see if she was isolating herself but she was with her sister (pebbles) I was looking in their favorite hide and found their other sister (Willow) I looked at the bedding and saw blood (or diarrhea I couldn't tell) everyone I didn't find anything awful but I was late for a doctor's appointment and couldn't check everyone over if I don't find any injuries does anyone know what might be wrong ?!?!
So cute! My little girls like pears, apples, carrots, spinach, kale, and lettuce. They also like blueberry granola. i'll have to try some of the other things I've seen here...
Everyone that ever reads this comment (that owns mice) I have something you can all try. It also helps you bond with your mice :). SO you put clean, cold water on your hand (whichever one) and then you put your hand near your mouse/mice and then they usually lick your hand! It tickles XD

It’s not Emi lol - but according to German care standards a species appropriate group starts with four mice . However , your cage might be a bit small for four girls so you could get two and as soon as you can maybe upgrade your cage you could introduce some more mice :) hope that helped !!
My little fuzzy goofballs love the taco bell grilled cheese burrito, my home cooked fried potatoes with eggs and bacon, and pizza hut ultimate meat lover's (but get disappointed if it isn't the cheese stuffed crust. I'll often serve them with a drinking dish of cranberry juice or one of them new age hippie vegan drinks that I find disgusting but the mice seem to love. I will not serve them "almost food" like McDonald's or that terrible "impossible meat."

Yesterday I got my pet mouse Remi a new tree log to play with and some seed. He has a ladder connecting to the top on his tank but is closed off by a wood panel so he can’t get out. I went to his cage yesterday to find him missing. I looked on top and he was on the wooden panne, so I quickly got him back in the tank. (He is not tamed FYI). He panicked and was very finicky. After that he got out again which has never happened before. He kept jumping, I mean JUMPING to get out and almost makes it! His tank is high so I have no clue how he did it. So today when I put my hand in to see if he was okay, he darted out very quickly which he never done. So why is Remi so cautious of me all of a sudden and why was he jumping very high to get out? He has many toys and things to do. Thanks.
Hi, I have 3 female mice for 5 days and I'm not sure how should I progress with taming them. The first one panics as soon as she hears my voice, even though it's not loud, she also runs a lot when I do something inside the cage. The other two are also scared, but a little less, they tolerate it when my hand is inside the cage and don't run off at the sound of my voice. They come a bit closer, but not too close, to sniff it. When I have food, they don't want to take it, whatever it is. Should I continue with just sticking in my hand and talking? I've heard that many people are firmer and they put them in other place, away from the cage and use 'force-taming' and it works wonders, even the breeder said I should work with them as soon as possible, so they will get used to being held, yet I'm afraid I will scare them off completely. Which way is better? Another thing is that they sleep during the day and wake up at +/- 11pm, when I'm kinda tired, I know the night is the best for them, but how do you handle it, is there any way to encourage them to be more active in the evening or something?
