Will yes I love mice and rats, It's mainly due to the fact that wild mice/rats are vermin and can destroy crops and can carry disease. Domestic mice on the other hand can be a wonderful companion but keep your hands washed after handling. :-)
巨人の肩 Well I wasn’t sure exactly how to phrase it. I didn’t mean it like that. You could say, “Oh look, there’s a large collection of people at the door.” Or something like that. That was just the first word that came to mind. Collection doesn’t have to mean a group of items some body collects and adds to… it can refer to a grouping of anything really. Sorry if it came off like I was referring to the mice as some sort of toy or item
Seeing your mice and how active and furry and clean and healthy they are and then comparing them to the mice you see in chain pet stores really goes to show the difference proper, responsible breeding makes.
I never thought about having a mouse, I never get interested in mice before, but these animals are so cute, clever and interesting aparently, thanks a lot for this video😍( excuse my english Im french😘)
no wait, I'M ALLERGIC TO ADORABLENESS!! D: Also it made me happy to see Clove is a seal point siamese, I have a male seal point siamese mouse at the moment and his name is Shion, he's a tiny bit darker on his points and I love him to bits. Really I'm a cat person but since owning mice they just grew on me and now life will never be the same without one. ♥
This is the best video on RUclips right now. Love everything about it! 🐁😍 so cute! Please keep us updated on them! Would love to see your daily & weekly routines for care & cage maintenance for your lovely group of mice! Thanks for sharing! ☺️
They all have better hair than me 🥺🥺🥺 also they’re all so beautiful! I was weary introducing my two alphas but now they’re all okay with eachother, they have some tussles where they just squeak but never drawn blood or hurt eachother which is good
Your mice are just adorable, my mouse just passed away today and I'm really sad about it, her sister also passed away about a week ago as well but they both lived a long and happy life.
They are all so pretty! As a kid we had a lot of mice, we would set a kittie pool in our living room (no water of course) and put all the girls in there for playtime. It worked well since it was huge and they couldn't hop out.
Finally got my 4 boys (Rats) together as a unit. Turns out I got unlucky with my first intro and had 'difficult' new boys. Took a few attempts and a chat with a Breeder but they are all snuggled up now and happy. I always love to see more of the rats and mice.
My dream pack right here. How did you even get all these guys?! They’re GORGEOUS. I saw some incredibly rare colors I would DIE to have, I have been looking for five years and haven’t found them. Siamese, the black and white “ blaze “, the red “ patched “, the “ brindle “ and Oml... the Rex!!! ( I believe curly mice are called that as well? )
Thank you so much for this information. My 2 white girls have been together for about 8 months and they have just moved into a 4 foot tank set up.. they love it and I'm sure happy to be out of their cage. Today I bought 4 new baby girls (sisters) and will introduce them slowly like you do. They are in a small cage next to the tank so they can all see each other. I will let the little ones settle in to their cage for a week or 2 before I start thinking about introductions. Thanks again for your knowledge and video of how to do this process.💜
@@hanzhaas2992 oh do rats do that too ? I thought because rats are bigger they might be different , or do you mean human males missing the toilet and peeing everywhere 🤣🐀
Your mice are so cute! 3 of them remind me of my hamster who passed away years ago (her name was Lexi) because their colors and patterns are almost exactly like hers was! And for some reason I get the vibe that Vixen is a bit on the shyer side. Sweet babies!
i’ve kept rats and hamsters in the past and i’m considering getting mice in a few years after college once i’ve saved up some money (: they’re absolutely gorgeous
When I introduced 4 mice it took like an hour and they were completely fine but now introducing 8 mice there has been fights and even drawn blood on me when trying to break them up. I'm still introducing them and they are starting to seem happy with each other and even sleep together which is good.
This was an amazing video yet again! I really enjoyed it ( but when do I not enjoy your videos? ). I love little olive! She is precious and her marking are gorgeous!!! Which mouse is your favorite? If you dont have one that is fine I know it is hard to pick favorites. ❤🐁❤🐀❤🐭❤🐁❤🐀❤
I'm so jealous of you your mice got along with each other as if they were all sisters and meanwhile my rat sisters Oreo and Marshmallow drew blood on poor Lea... : (
Mine are now in the medium-sized cage. Going to the big one soon. But then you use a new house and wheels. Or what you have already used in the medium-sized cage?
I’ve never seen mice so beautiful before. I usually feed them to my snake but I ended up keeping one since it’s so CUTEEEEEE AND I SPOIL HER WITH A BIG CAGE
I have 2 groups of mice. One is of 7 mice and the other is of 9. My mice get along fine so the 6 mice rule is kind of a myth and entirely depends on the mice themselves. Obviously, if you have one mouse that is aggressive then it will ruin the whole dynamic of all the mice in the enclosure but I've found this is quite rare especially in an all-female group.
They are the cutesstt❤️ ive had rats before and they were very cute but next time i think i would go for mice🥰 have to roborosvki hamsters en two dogs so my time is already well spend haha. Loved this video❤️
I have a group of 10 mice in a 40 and they get along just great they are in a 40 since we put them in a detolf and they all hated it. We never seen them out they stopped eating and I got worried so then we put them back into the 40 and they were so happy. We even have some other mice that hate the 40 so we moved them into a 20 gallon with 5 others and they were so happy. All mice have their own ideas of what they can call home.
I have had 11 females together, most where from my own breeding but some were new females and they did just fine together. Now I have a 3 sister group and another 3 group of mom and 2 pups that I will most likely introduce when the pups are old enough to handle those older sisters.
I've been preparing and doing as much research as possible cause I have two mice and I upgraded their tank so I'll soon be getting two more mice and I just wanted to know how to introduce them in the safest way possible
Not picking favourites but Vixen, Clove and Opal are so beautiful 🤩 Pebble is gorgeous too, unusual pattern ❤️ Edit: just wondering is it ok to make a bin cage and keep a mouse or multiple mice in there permanently? And also is it ok to keep multiple boy together if they come from they same litter?
They're all such beautiful girls and I love how comfortable they are around you (and each other now)! I wish my degus were this well behaved but they're all far too boisterous and spoiled to respect me.
I am introducing one new mouse to my 2 other mouses, they are making noise sometimes, sometimes real loud. I think the new one is verry dominant bc she is riding the other 2 and she’s rattling with her tale, so i hope its going to work out. For so far this is day 1 and no one is bleeding
They are adorable, but god, I could not imagine keeping any. I keep rats and already the short (2-3 year) lifespan feels painful and finding vets for them is hell.
i have a question! if you have mice and keep them in a bin cage can you leave the top off? i know they might jump out... But i hope theres a way to keep it off without them escaping?
1. Do you keep them in the same cage? 2. How do you know which one is alpha? 3. What happens if they dislike one or more mice? 4. What cages are best? Glass or bars? 5. How do you stop a fight? 6. Where do you get your cages from? Xx
Yes I do, that's why they're being introduced like this. I can tell which one is alpha by watching them interact with each other, due to her behaviour she often wins a lot of the fights and will also start them - shes very dominant. To stop a fight, usually making a loud noise will pull them out of it, or reaching in (with gloves if you don't want to get bitten) taking out the aggressor mouse and putting them in 'time out' in a carry cage to calm down.
I love mice I don't get why some one could hate such a innocent creature
Will yes I love mice and rats, It's mainly due to the fact that wild mice/rats are vermin and can destroy crops and can carry disease. Domestic mice on the other hand can be a wonderful companion but keep your hands washed after handling. :-)
Sorusutisu Same with rats, they’re adorable.
Well the people I talked to that don't like mice and rats is because of the tail and how it feels and looks
Well I love mice till there are some in your room crawling over you at night eating your food am making ton of noise and destroy your furniture
@@bleep9475 the tails feel quite soft. I really do like the feel, but thats just my opinion.

as a hamster owner, it's definitely interesting to learn more about the dynamics of a social rodent species. thanks for providing this insight!
I agree! I rembered I always wanted a social creature, and I was going to get 2 dwarves,, then decided against it because of all the risks
Hamster's arent social. Mice and rats are social but hamster's no

I’m so afraid of mice but they are absolutely beautiful and sweet! Especially when they slept in the pile! Too cute! Thank you for sharing!
Yasss queen Em back at it again, also do you recommend 4-5 female rats for a double critter nation? It’s the same size as your cage
Yep! That's a good size cage for 4-5!

They say you can fit up to 12 rats in a DCN... but I probably wouldn’t put that many in.
Pearl is so beautiful! Love the rex fur

They are so precious! Are they a certain breed of mice? They seem bigger than the ones I saw in the pet store which were very tiny, half the size.

I'm pretty sure mice all live in a house together in the wild like thousands of mice all together
No not thousands. They’ll have their own little family groups and will fight mice from other territories

2. How do you know which one is alpha?
3. What happens if they dislike one or more mice?

Yes I do, that's why they're being introduced like this. If they 'dislike' one of the other mice you take introduced slower, or if it's really not working out you will have to have seperate groups. I personally like glass cages better because one of my mice is very good at squeezing through bars and its difficult to find cages with small enough bar spacing, she can get through a 1cm bar gap. To stop a fight, usually making a loud noise will pull them out of it, or reaching in (with gloves if you don't want to get bitten) taking out the aggressor mouse and putting them in 'time out' in a carry cage to calm down.
