Great videos - I would love something like this for kayak fishing and camping trips, and for taking the dogs out. I don't think I am brave enough to take on a project though.
Need the wheel alignment doing as well on the front after fitting those new arms, worth doing even if you manage to get the new bolts into original positions so factor that into the costs as well.
Just caught up on both videos of the project, great progress so far. After I saw one of these part way through a cambelt change I said I'd never touch one with a barge pole, but D4s are always tempting...
Full marks for taking this project on, you have my complete attention. I've just bought a Disco4 commercial for transporting dogs. It brilliant for that but gets hot in the back so really need to get the rear windows opening. what was inside your rear doors ? when you exposed all the interior wiring loom, was there anything for electric seats ? that's an upgrade I'd want. Are you planning on converting the "commercial" infotainment system to the normal, more capable "domestic" system ? I'm thinking more about making the reversing camera operational as at the moment reversing is "white van" level dangerous.
I'll be stripping the door cards of later this week! Will post soon on my findings. No additional wiring for rear heated seats though. My D3 has a decent factory amp under the driver's seat and has an aftermarket head unit too.
Lads im in ireland iv a range rover sport a 09 im looking to change it from air to coils can any of ye suggest a kit iv been told the module is not getting the warning lights off the dash un like the discovery
You have a lot of faith in your tyres ! You should hold the steering wheel firmly with both hands . The number of cars that run off the road because they’ve had a tyre blow out £!!!!!!!!
Wow! Great to see the chassie under the carpet, awsome transformation. Nice airfreshner, kudos from stateside. LRs rule.

Flush the non-return valve next to the washer jet. Or buy new one. Check intercooler hoses for splits that causes smoking exhaust.
Great job!

Excellent job. A hug from Portugal.
Hi, those aren’t heating elements in the back side windows. They are the antennas for the audio system.
No wonder my reception has got worse!
Great to see a local garage in the midlands, can’t wait until your finished

Hi. Dose it change the road tax when you tell the dvla you have converted it to having seats in the back ?
Weirdly I'm paying standard tax and not commercial tax. Which is OK as I've now fitted the seats I guess.

The Arnott kit has the module to delete the lights👍
