@@N.W.art. IT'S SO FUNNY YOU SAY THIS. The first time heard Calcutta, the ending actually made me start having a panic attack and I just about threw my headphones across the room. I don't know how they mimicked the feeling of suffocation so perfectly through sound, but boy did they. 🥴 Super cool, just wildly disconcerting for me lmao.
@@earthscorcher daaaamn, yes it dounds like going underwater, the trebble and mids fade out first. It's such a clever way to fade out a song, pther could be leaving a clean melody beneath it sound a bit longer, like vildhjarta tends to do. I'm a bit mad some great songs like take me back to eden have such a sudden and lazy fade out 😭
This is the song that first introduced me to Sleep Token back in 2018. If I'm honest, it didn't grab me straight away, but for the next day or two, I had that synth line going round and round in my head. So I revisited the song a few days later, and then I got hooked!! You should go even further back to 2017 and listen to their song Nazareth! Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
Always pumped to see you guys dive deeper into Sleep Token! their older material is just as good as the new stuff, I hope that you will get to some Sundowning songs at some point (The offering, for instance, is one of the most popular from the album and it is a banger).
Great reaction -love all of your ST reactions. Yes, that is Vessel’s mask, but from back in this earlier era of the band Now, for a fun mind-funk, watch this video on mute while you listen to their song Nazareth on another device … you’re welcome :)
Okay I'm definitely going to try it. Ironically, I just told them to check out Nazareth before seeing your comment 😂 one of their best early early songs.
i'd love to see you guys react to the Sleep Token drum playthroughs done by II from their last album, Alkaline & Hypnosis are both really fun sons to watch/listen to and being that yall are musicians, and with Loop being a drummer, would like to see yall's opinions and reactions to either or both.
You should really try their older stuff! I recommend watching a lyric video for Nazareth. The lyrics are brutal, but the music (before changing up) is sweet and calm
You guys have to remember Vessel writes everything except the drums. So it's always going to have his style, but he has obviously slowly gotten heavier over the years.
I believe two also gets lyric credits on some of their songs atleast according to Apple Music lyrics. I believe the “two” ep has songs where two is the only one who gets lyric credit.
okayyyy so love you guys and it's hilarious to watch you two. I look forward to these videos but for sleep token you HAVE to do a few more from TMBTE album and I even highly recommend Blood Sport (from the room below)
Highly recommend you gentleman check out songs from sundowning album. It’s really difficult to pick because there are so many gems. The offering, and higher are amazing tracks. But if you want a absolute spear to your hearts, listen to blood sport the room below performance. You get a chance to hear the singer and his piano alone and it is heart wrenching.
Your sleep token reactions make me wish RUclips allowed us to rapid fire the thumbs up button.
That means a lot thank you so much 🙏❤️
If y'all want an amazing ST song that's even older, try Nazareth. It's from their second EP, and it goes hard. Very dark.
and calcutta (same EP) has one of my favourite endings ever in music (and I'm a fade-out hater)

You guys would absolutely love higher by sleep token! One of their best songs!!

I love that you're the third person to recommend Nazareth to them. Two EP supremacy.
Haha, same. From one of my least faves to one of the most memorable for me.
This song has a great build. Sleep Token always has great build ups.
This was used for jaws but the video actually matches and goes to the song Nazareth.

That's a nuclear grade drop into the breakdown. Love it!
This was the first song i heard from them when it first came out and I've been hooked ever since

They definitely should!! Hypnosis was mesmerizing to watch

This jam resonates in my head on the daily. That simple piano lick that haunts me.
This song is an amazing song, such an atmosphere❤ you guys rock, again😊thank you. This band definitely crept in under the radar, for sure!
This the beginning of Sleep Token
Still an incredible song & the band still showcases their amazing talents

@andrewj3398 oh that cool, I didn't know that!
@@ddevil4980 yep… one of my favorite songs of theirs Jericho,, on Apple Music lyrics it says written by vessel II.
@andrewj3398 My personal favorite is Mine. I love their new album, but I find myself listening to their previous albums more.

If you revisite Sleep Token.. i highly recommend Telomeres 😉
And we go beyond the farthest reaches where the light bends and wraps beneath us🔥🔥
And i know as you collapse into me. This is the start of something
Please go back and listen to their first single thread the needle. You need to see where it all began.
