I didn't know this was even a thing. My daughter slept through the night for so long, and then BAM - she could wake up and cry 10 times within ONE hour... This started a week ago, and she is 6 months and 3 weeks old. Also, she really struggles to get any sleep after 5 in the morning. She cries and turns from side to side non stop. Napping during the day is also harder, but she actually has only had 30-minute naps for quite a while. Hope it will pass soon!
Yes! The one constant with babies is change! If you’re struggling with short naps, you can find my video on that too! ❤
My princess went through all those .Thank-you very much for these tips it really helped me through. ❤🇵🇬
Thrilled you found this helpful ❤
I too experience the same issue. Till the 4th month, my baby was having a 2 naps in the day time, but he used to sleep for 4-5 hrs continuously in the night. He started showing his changes in the 5th month, and still he is fighting for his sleep. Day time we put him in cradle and night we used to put him in bed once he gets a deep sleep in the cradle. But even though he used to wake for 3-4 times for feed. We are using whitenoise for a longer time but it's not helping right now. Now he go for a 1-2 hr nap in the day time, may be 2-3 times. But in the night, I could see his difficulties in falling asleep. Tried many ways, but none of them are helpful now!
Did any of the tips in this video help you? I have a 6 month now who is not sleeping as much anymore and wakes up 3 times in the middle of the night
I'm experiencing same
Would you start sleep training after the sleep regression or during?
Hi there, yes, you can sleep train in a regression. You shouldn’t sleep train if your little one is unwell or if you have any big changes coming up. Eg. Going away on vacation, having family to come and stay, etc.
We are 6 days away from turning 6 months and showing all the signs.
Yes! This too shall pass! Hang in there xx
Allllll the signs lol
Ahhhhhh yes! It can be tough! Hang in there xx

Sleep regressions after the 4 month sleep regression can typically last anywhere between 2-6 weeks. Hang in there! This too shall pass x
All of these signs
Yes! Hang in there! This too shall pass x
Mine is sleep train, she use to sleep through the night but since this week she kept waking up and cry can that be regression too ?
A sleep regression is when your little one was previously sleeping relatively well and then all of a sudden their sleep changes and becomes worse. For the sleep regressions after the 4 month sleep regressions, these can typically last anywhere between 2-6 weeks x
I m finding it very hard to make my baby sleep...she is a very light sleeper since birth...evn a pin drop can make her awake....she Hardly sleeps 30min nap 3-4times a day....now it's reduced to 2-3 naps a day....
She is very fussy wen she is sleepy...I rock I tap I do put her in cradle but she keeps crying....
I try to bf her too but she sees boons n cry even harder
I don't knw wat to do
Nights she sleep well n gets up for feed 2-3 times
Day time is harder n I hardly get time to work
Hi Jaspreet, sorry to hear you're having such a hard time with your little one's sleep. If your little one is a super light sleeper, if you haven't yet introduced white noise, that is great to help mask outside noises.
Short naps are also super common for babies up to 5-6 months of age. If your little one is 5 months, we do have an online sleep program which covers absolutely everything you need to get your little one sleeping well. It's for babies between 5-18 months.
There are also multiple settling techniques included ranging from gentle to intermediate so you can choose which one will suit your little one's temperament and your family the best. You can find the details here: www.babysleepteam.com/enroll
Hopefully this helps :)
Hey. How long does it take for this regression phase to pass??
Hi there! After the 4 month sleep regression, the others can typically last anywhere between 2-6 weeks (unless any new sleep associations are introduced) 😊
@@BabySleepTeam New sleep associations such as Feeding or others correct? Also can we start sleep training our baby during this phase
Is it normal for à baby to wake up every 15 min at night ? Hé is 6 month old and we are going through a very hard time
Hi there,
Your little one sounds as though they are not progressing into deep sleep. The range of what is "normal" is very broad as all babies go through sleep regressions differently They commonly last between 2-6 weeks so if your little one was previously sleeping well, this too shall pass! x
All the signs lol
