G1 Video 2 Bb Bugle & Equipment

One of the most important factors when learning a new skill is that we have the correct equipment at hand from the start. It saves you money and helps you along the learning process to buy the correct stores required.
Bb BUGLE - The training material contained in this channel is for a Bb Bugle used by the British Armed Forces. I would recommend that you buy a tuneable Bugle so that if you sound with other buglers you can tune the bugles together. Also non-tuneable bugles tend to be ornaments and are not the best to learn on, although you will get a sound out of them.
GLOVES - If you go for the Silver plated Bugle option the gloves stop the acid from your palms tarnishing the silver. The main difference between a brass and silver bugle is the plating and extra £s.
EAR PROTECTION - If sounding in a small room or in a group of Buglers the noise is loud, protect the ears.
MUTES- The mute will restrict the noise for others in your household and neighbours so you may stay friends for longer using a mute. You will require a cone shaped mute, NOT the bulbus type, they don't fit in the Bugle.
TUNER- A brass wind instrument tuner capable of testing for a Bb instrument.
