Lovell sisters lead is Rebecca, lap steel slide guitarist is Megan. Megan no longer uses that guitar regularly she now has signature model from Beard guitars designed to set on her hip. Born in Tennessee, raised in Georgia, now live back in Nashville. Previous in carnation was as the Lovell sisters with older sister Jessica in bluegrass genre. Go to the rabbit hole there are no regrets there. Both sisters married to kick ass guitarists, Rebecca to Tyler Bryant, of the Shakedown. Megan to Mike Seal of Jerry Douglas and many other places.
You really do need to dive into more Larkin Poe. In a world of cookie-cutter music they are a true stand-out. I first heard them play at an Outlaw Music Festival concert, They opened for Gov't Mule, ZZ Top & Willie Nelson. I was blown away and they quickly became one of my favorites bands.

The Lovell sisters are from Georgia but currently based out of Nashville. They are named after their Great (x5 I think) Grandfather who was a cousin to author Edgar Alan Poe. Musically, I guess they are Americana because they are Blues Rock but also a bit of Country and Rock-a-Billy. The won the Grammy last year for Best Blues Rock Album (it might have been the Modern Blues category, I cannot recall).
It's about time you circled the Larkin Poe rabbit hole , now dive in headfirst, you won't regret it . The sisters are from Georgia ,I believe and Megan is playing a lap steel guitar which is normally played sitting down . Wanting the freedom to move around on stage she had the harness custom made for her . Younger sister Rebecca is on lead and vocals . They have a band and do both original and cover songs .
