This one is an original penned by Rebecca. In a live stream she said that it is her favorite song on their excellent Venom & Faith album. RUclips has introduced me to a whole generation of new blues and blues rock musicians, and these blues sisters are at the top of the list of my very favorite young bands.

Here are some other newer artists you might like: Danielle Nicole, Joe Bonamassa, The Tedeschi Trucks Band, Christone Kingfish Ingram, Sue Foley, Carolyn Wonderland, Samantha Fish, Bonnie Raitt, and Beth Hart. If you're looking for classic blues artists, you may want to start with BB King, Albert King, Freddie King, and Muddy Waters. There are many others, but your discovery of the blues will lead you to some truly great music.

This is Contemperary Blues. You can thank the greatest musicians that ever hit the strings for this. these ladies obviously grewup listening to everything from T-Bone Walker, TUF, Lynard Skynard to Shania Twain and beyond. There is a 'ton of soul' in this band. Like JImmy Thackery says "Buy these Blues"

I discovered these two via the Mad Hatter song (which found a place immediately in my heart and won't leave) but damn if I'm not a full blown fan with this number. Loving it.

For some reason the youtube algorithm had Mad Hatter pop up about a week ago and I was hooked. Even better, I found they were touring and playing about an hour away from me in two weeks. Next up is seeing them live.

The One many years ago , they spoke about how they were remembering their grandparents very compassionatly as they wrote that song, dementia & mental illness , and how it affects family . A very vulnerable, honest introduction & then Larkin Poe played, the chemistry between you Sisters, WOW. Wow. Wow🤩💝 Year's of Love for these Two ❤️💯

I fell in love with their guitar skills. Then I found out their vocals are freaking amazing too. The songs are one of the best blues artists to me. Last but not least, they both so gorgeous. Love them so much. Perfect two! You two inspire me a lot for my future practice in blues music.

Saw you in Peoria opening for Bob Seger last week. Moving, emotional, spiritual, and powerful. My pal and I have been trying to see as many legends as possible. We have tried to see the great women of rock and music. Ann and Nancy Wilson, Amy Lee, Pat Benatar, Lita Ford, Joan Jett, Chrissy Hynde, Shania Twain and here you are in Peoria. Sorry to be a late one to learn about you but thanks for coming and playing. Down home country girls will always be strong. Great sound, great music and mesmerizing vocals. I hope you rock the world.

This song sounds better with every listening. What they did with the vocals+steel combo in the chorus is fantastic. And especially at the end when that organ/keyboard kicks in.
They are a true inspiration. I saw them in Minneapolis back in 2013, me and a few others were there. They drove all the way up from the South and had to drive all the way back home to catch a flight or something the next day or two after for a tour overseas. I've been listening to their music since 2010 when I caught they're 'Long Hard Fall' video on public access TV in college. They have worked SO HARD... in 2014 I walked into an antique shop in Lewes, UK - inside the front door was a Larkin Poe concert poster. Such persistence and determination to their music and dreams. Long May They Run..

Bought all three of their albums in one shot off Amazon after listening to a few clips of each. First time I've bought an album and liked EVERY tack on it much less THREE. Every track on all three albums is beyond good. Great variety. Great musical range. They seem to really put their heart into it. Best money I ever spent on recorded music.

Bradley Mlekush - According to Adam Jones from the band Tool, tone comes from a well made instrument. The artist has something to do with it, but the huge variance in sound is mostly due to the instruments they play and less so the skill of the artist.
@@jsmyth024 I try telling people that, and most say " You can replicate it with the right foot pedals." I believe it's in the way pickups were made back in the day. The closest / best tone (Modern-day) pickups that I've experienced, and noticed sounding vintage, come from Gretch guitars. Not sure of my spelling of Gretch lol.!?!
@@bradleymlekush498 Gretsch uses Lollar pickups afaik. Maybe worth a try sometime on one of my guitars. Btw: I've seen a Fender (not sure about the model) with Lollar pickups.
