HDS made so much great music and movies, and then someone recorded this.
I heard him singing a Mexican song one evening in a Club on the Westside of LA. And I was a fan of this fabulous actor, singer and great human. Que viva Harry Dean Stanton!
He did that in Lucky , won me over as a fan too . They don't come like him .
When award shows were still somewhat down to earth and had some spontaneity. Now Harry Dean Stanton exemplified genuine in all areas of his life...may he rest in peace 1926-Sept 2017.

Whenever I see a movie with Harry in it my attention is assured. He can sing, too.
He was great in Christin, Twin Peaks, and The Green Mile. I don’t think that legend missed a beat in his acting. RIP to HDS and The Everly Brothers
