  • “In a Minute” series videos show a quick, narration-free look at what’s currently on my workbench, always under a minute!
    In this video, I’m attaching a 5oz leather pocket to a waxed canvas shop apron. I use a a sewing machine and then reinforce the stress points with copper rivets. Hope you enjoy this quick one as well as my other more in-depth videos! Cheers!

    Interesting. Kind of like a 'Cliff Notes' of leather technique videos. I suppose knowing basic techniques helps understand what you are doing. The order of your assembly is very helpful. Thank you.

      Yes, Cliffs Notes is a great way to put it! Most of my videos will be longer and more instructive, but I kind of enjoy making (and watching) these quick ones as well! Thanks for watching, Bruce!

    Hi Tanner! Where did you find the burnishing wheel for your Dremel?? I’m looking to purchase one but I haven’t had luck finding one similar to the one you have. Thank you!

    • @ClaridgeLeather

      I got mine from Crimson Hides (purchased directly from them), but it looks like you can also find some on Amazon or Etsy if you search for “cocobolo burnisher.” Good luck!

    Can you hand stitch leather to canvas with stitching chisels.thanks

    • @ClaridgeLeather
      @ClaridgeLeather  3 года назад +1

      I don’t see why not! Even if someone says you can’t... I’d give it a try! 😄 Just make sure the two materials are well-adhered so nothing shifts on you between making holes and stitching! Let us know how it works!
