i have another question about the screen, the hdmi port is smaller than normal. do you know if it is mini or micro hdmi ? the manual doesnt say which form it is.
the size and design seems ideal for me, but the fact they recommend such a low resolution, makes me think it's not good enough for me, could anyone recommend a better version of this size and shape?
This monitor can run at 1920 * 1080 , but of course since the screen is physically small, the text displayed at that resolution is also quite small. So dependant on your eyesight it may or may not be suitable for you at this resolution.
You may have to opt for a monitor with a larger physical size, perhaps a 15.6 inch? I've reviewed the UPERFECT Portable 15.6 Monitor FHD 1080P, I now have three of these.
@custompchardware nah this size is perfect for me, I am basically looking for best monitor this shape and size, so was asking if anyone knows better one
@@custompchardware I'm thinking of using it with Chromecast and raspberry pi in a campervan. Is there monitor settings that could do the same without Windows? I see there is some Menu button on the back.
The Menu button doesn't seem to have an option to flip the screen. The Raspberry PI does have a screen rotation option in Raspberry Pi OS, but I'm not sure about Chromecast.
one last question, the power cable for this screen is according to the manual micro usb, but this does not fit, it seems to be usb c, can you confirm that ?
Hey I purchased this monitor and when I first turned it on I got a message saying burn in mode and I can't get it out of this mode and it is just flashing colors please help
Great Video. Thanks for uploading.
Many thanks, glad you liked the video.
i also ordered one, i'm gonna use it as television screen on my desk beside the pc screen. thanks for the video.
No problem, glad you found the video interesting.
i have a question, the display stand sticks out above the screen, can you fold that in ?@@custompchardware
Yes the top half of the display stand can be folded back so it isn't visible when the monitor is in landscape orientation.
oh great, thanks for your reply. i expect to have it delivered tomorrow, can't wait lol@@custompchardware

The cable that ships with the screen is a mini HDMI cable to full size HDMI.

@custompchardware my eyesight is very good I'm worried that there aren't enough pixels, so text would be very hard to read, even with 20/20 eyesight

If I come across one, I'll post details for you.
Can you rotate the monitor upside down from the monitor settings to have the plugs on the other side?
If you're running this in Windows, yes, you can right click the display, select display settings and select the landscape (flipped) option.

Can you try powering off the screen, then hold the AUTO button and power it on again?
If this doesn't fix it you could post a query on their forum - forum.elecrow.com/
