I feel like your style has become more uniquely you recently - in terms of color, 70s vibe, etc. More than ever I feel like I could see you wearing an outfit without your face in it and still know it was you
I agree, olive green is a neutral to me. Dark green has been popular for a few years--starts with fashion, moves to home interiors. A few years ago it was dark green kitchen cabinets, now the sofa everyone wants is olive green, but it's nothing new, not by a long shot. I love olive green or dark green anything, so that's fine with me. But raspberry? Hmm, I like it! Haven't the Pantone colors of the year been reddish purplish for the past couple years? I would never paint anything in my house purple, but for clothing, yeah I think I'd do it. That specific hue of your Kotn pants (which are sold out in my size, ugh) is really nice.
Hi Laini! Do you think you could do a fall styling video with clothes from your closet that is not sponsored by a clothing brand? Maybe also how to transition your doc loafers and Mary Janes from summer to fall outfits?
So random, but I just have to say I love how you included natural curly hair in your inspo photos!!!! As a girl with natural curls I often find myself struggling to follow trends, and it genuinely made my day to see that representation!!❣
Obsessed with this simple trends list! Couldn't agree more on where style is heading this fall. Raspberry is a great word for that brighter burgundy colour... Just thrifted some high waisted tan suede shorts and I love em with knee high boots! Also love cowboy boots for fall hehe
Oh, those chunky heeled loafers are so 90s! We all wore them back in the day. I do have a pair of chunky heeled loafers that I thrifted a couple years ago. They're so weird--really chunky and square, so much so that I think they are men's, but the fit is narrow around the arch of the foot (I wear size 10, or 10.5). The brand is Bass but I have never seen Bass loafers like them before or since. A style I want to bring back is wearing chunky black men's oxfords, the lace up kind. With black tights. I have never gotten behind wearing little socks--it looks cute on some people (i.e. YOU) but not on me. I'm longing for my chunky black shoes and black tights days.
absolutely agree with purple being the next color. i've been seeing some designers dressing k-pop idols (cuz that's the sphere i'm in lol) in unusual shades of purple--gem tones, more raspberry and plum adjacent purples, etc. i don't really like purple on me but i have to agree it's coming
Hi love this! Wanted to ask if you were going to do a video on the styling that Nathalie (itsyohomegirl) did on her channel? It would be so cool seeing you actually try the outfits she created and your thought on them :)
this is so random but do you have any problems with bleeding jeans? i could never wear suede with jeans fearing my jacket would turn blue at the bottom. now i only wear grey and black so i ask for my past self
When you talked about raspberry last video I was like "looks like burgundy to me" 😂 so yeah. Nothing new is really exciting me which is a bummer cause I usually love these videos. Maybe I'm getting old lol
I love the suede jacket with the fringe that your dad got you. I wish I knew about fb marketplace in 2015! I was just into thrift shopping at the time and hadn't ventured into online re sale
The messy, curly, braided hair reminds me of Sandra Bullock in Practical Magic. Her hair in that movie is absolute perfection.
What a great reference 🙌🏼 so true
lilac/lavender was huge in 2021, for sure - it was everywhere that covid summer! if it comes back, I welcome it.
Completely agree - burgundy is done. It's raspberry now. A little more playful, sweet, cheery.

His *xbagy* tote is beautifully colored, very sturdy and the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. I look forward to joining my rotation.
Absolutely love these!! Especially the Raspberry color it's a fresh color
love all of this, just dropped so much $$$ on kickflares from saks, always on the messy hair, and 70s sunnies are forever
So random, but I just have to say I love how you included natural curly hair in your inspo photos!!!! As a girl with natural curls I often find myself struggling to follow trends, and it genuinely made my day to see that representation!!❣
I've been trying to grow my bangs out but you're reallyyy tempting me to cut them again!! also lovee the 70s influences

Me taking notes even though it’s springtime in Australia 😌😇🥰
