Good question. I failed to mention in the video that was part of my testing, to see what I could get away with. I found its all circumstantial, had this been a black or dark colored vehicle I would not have gotten away with it. Being that the car was white and it was fairly cool to the touch based on outside temperature and that I had just washed it applying this product in direct sunlight for this instance was no issue at all.
Do you think it's to small? I was kind of thinking that was the only down fall at first. But then I came around to liking it because it's so compact. And I like the lock how it's on the neck.
Can I ask why you instantly wiped off the product? I dont know if nexgen is a spray on and wipe off or if you have to wait the minute to 2 minutes to then wipe it off. I also wanted to know if you let the product cure for a few days?
Nexgen is actually an immediate flash product. You only need 2 or 3 sprays per pannel, rub in with 1 towel, buff off with another. If you don't get this product off immediately you will see high spots! especially if applying in direct sun light. Cure time for at least 12 hours + is great.
My bottle fell off my two step stool and from just height of about 2.5', that broke the trigger, which now leaks! So now I have to shake the bottle towards the vehicle as if I'm blessing it. Annoying because its no longer the even spray but at least the product seems to be working.
@@vortexdetailing Absolutely! I used Maguires clay bar yellow and white, and speed clay. My car is only two years old and it’s an Audi. Nexgen is garbage.
@@tfiresmith01 Interesting must have got a bad batch. I have only ever had a bad experience when I let the product stay in extreme heat for too long. Otherwise, I have seen this product work for 6 plus months on vehicles used aggressively.
This stuff is useless, does not provide much beading and does not last. No thank you, I’ll stick to Chemical Guys top coat sealant every 8 months, takes some work but will last and much better results. You get what you pay for, Chemical Guys everything, Nexgen nothing.

I would be interested to hear how you prepped the vehicle before application. without proper decontamination steps no spray on product is going to work well.
Contrary to directions, why are you applying this in direct sunlight ?

I have really enjoyed this product. My only complaint is the sprayer itself.

Vortex Detailing mine kept popping the round part where the lock is off. It got super annoying. I ended up switching to a different bottle.

You're totally correct bro. You should spray it on and wait 30 seconds to a minute to buff and it's a 24 hour cure time
Nothing in NexGen's advertising or instructions state there is a cure time. They TOTALLY state spray on, wipe off....IT IS A CRAP PRODUCT ...

Bought it without reading reviews...a complete waste of $$...the Meguires spray detailer wax totally outperformed it in both beading and endurance....
Did you use a clay bar?
I reviewed this stuff in my channel. Performs worse then $11 turtle wax ceramic nexgen washes right off
Did you use a clay bar?
Cool stuff!
It is gone after the first wash.
Did you properly decontaminate your vehicle first, using a clay bar?

Ohh and I Kept it in the garage for 48 hours for cure time with no water touching it.

@@vortexdetailing Well I switch to turtle wax and I love the products performs way better than the stuff
Great informative video!
Had a tough time getting the bottle to slide off the hood….application demo is poor.
