@@vortexdetailingwhat is the make of that tool? The battery one you use. And if you don’t mind me asking, have you tried Avalon king ceramics? I just bought some for my 24 Sierra Denali. It’s black I was hoping it would help keep it cleaner or possibly easier to wash.
@Jbmc65 yeah that's a decent 2 year coating but it's a 2 layer application unfortunately to get the full results. I use the flex rotary. I'll link it in the description now. Amazon doesn't carry it so I linked the Milwaukee which is basically the same tool.
@@vortexdetailing oh I understood it’s to strip the wax away first with the prep shampoo they call it. Then put on the IX. It’s a good price when on sale. I shoulda got that goat stuff too. It was on sale for $75 a little why back but I forgot. It’s supposedly supposed to be to last 5 years (Goat that is)
It angers me no end when watching these videos, seriously , mothers mag and aluminium polish and 30 seconds and your light will look new. Why go through this mess and work, possibly damaging your headlight when a simple polish will clear all the gunk off your headlight with a little rubbing in and wiping off.
There is no comparison between the two, the one you did looks brand new. Awesome job.
How long does this method last. With the ceramic coating
I've seen it last several years.
No link to products used in description, as promised.
Hm.. maybe scroll down to the bottom? Not sure why they wouldn't be visible.

I didn't work on mine
I’m sorry. The headlights looks maybe 10% better and that’s it. Maybe next time!
@josephpetrus3176 well you're entitled to you're subjective truth. Thanks for the laugh.🤙
