Great song, great vocals and group harmonies. My first time hearing this selection.There's no background information on the artist or when the record was released, I'm guessing maybe the early '70s perhaps. I think it did say one of the Crume Brothers wrote the song and as I remember the Crume brothers were a part of the early Soul Stirrers gospel group with Sam Cooke.,
Of which I can hear the voicing, and vocal phrasing-influence of Sam Cooke from the lead singer here. Pretty-good posting here, thank you.
