I gotta say, I wasn't a big fan of Lord Of The Rings when I was little, but when I got Lego Lord Of The Rings, I was hooked.

I played Lego Lord of the Rings and when it was time to turn the 360 off, Dad would put the actual movie and that way, we managed to end at the same point.
It was so thrilling to little kid me.

listening to the audio book of the first 3 books is amazing. i listened to them before bed last year it took like a month to finish the whole trilogy but it was a great read or listen it helped me sleep like a baby and the youtube channel i would watch it on was great the narrator did a really good job and did different voices for each character. if you happen to have trouble sleeping or just looking for a good read or something to get you off maybe video games or netflix definitely consider listening to the audio of the first 3 books
DisneyVillainsFan 16, to be honest, I actually read the book franchise before I got into The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, but the way that LEGO converted the Peter Jackson interpretation of The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit films into LEGO video game form made me like the franchise even more in my life.

It's not particularly deep but there is an ocd satisfaction to the gameplay of smashing everything to 'clean' up a level. And also there's a satisfaction to going through a second time and getting all the previously inaccessible secrets
I honestly would love to rather smash things in a LEGO video game than to smash the skulls of various types of polititards in real life.

these are the types of games that make you feel accomplished. you solved the puzzle, you got the gold brick you got the true jedi/hero ect. They re not cringy, they are goofy, fun, and unique

The best part for me is the absolute seemless coop which makes them the perfect video games for me and my 7yo son to play together. We just started LegoJurassic World the first movie of course which we also watched together not long ago.
And after seeing the laughs and positive emotions my son expressed as we played together i was instantly hocked. Bought now 11 more of the franchise for us to play in the future. 😅

THANK YOU! My cousin harks on me forever for playing these games and I always get mad at him about it. His opinion is that only kids should be playing these games when I completely disagree. I'm 22 and I love playing lego games no matter what the franchise is. I hope to play every one some day. I have almost all of them.

@@Sonicice24 same lol. I also have the 5-7. But one game that I have on the Wii that not many at all have is Zelda Twilight Princess for the Wii. Not even a million people got to play that game. That’s why I want a switch remake.

@@robbyreal7014 I mean that only 6 million copies were sold for Wii. They only manufactured the game for Wii from around 2008 to 2011. There's 1 million copies sold on the Cube, and 1 million on Wii U since Wii U was not to people's liking. Breath of the Wild has around 24 million copies sold. So, I think a Switch remake would make it so that maybe even around the same amount of people could play Twilight Princess. It would seem like everyone has played it because of how good it is, but no actually. They haven't manufactured the game in years. Meanwhile, breath of the wild has been sold for a long time. The only reason BOTW sales are so high is the fact that they created the Switch. They had to because Wii consoles and games are not manufactured anymore. Also, sales for TP on the Wii were not as high as they could have been because the mechanics of the game with the joystick. Everyone knows of the game, yes. But only those who bought it years ago around 2008 or 9-2011, or on the Wii U around 7 years ago or so have the game in their possession.

I’m 22 and I’ve been re-playing both the first LEGO Batman game and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga ever since the pandemic started. I had a blast playing both games as a kid and as an adult.
I'd rather prefer Lego Marvel Superheroes 1 & 2 over Square Enix's The Avengers game!

I'm almost 40 and I love these games, been playing them since they made the first LEGO Star Wars game...and I don't have any kids, just nieces and nephews... but I definitely don't buy them for them.
I'm a grown adult and love LEGOS to this day. They were a fond part of my childhood and it to this day holds a magic nothing else can capture.
I always get made fun of for playing LEGO games at 23 years old lol

So far I've 100 percented LEGO Batman 1,2, and 3, LEGO DC Supervillains, and right now I'm on the quest of 100 percenting LEGO MARVEL Superheroes!

Skywalker Saga is coming out 2021.
I, for one, would love to not only see a remaster/remake/expansion of LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins, but to see it in a multiple platform release, and to also see another, and by that, I mean a new, LEGO City Undercover entry as well.
Now in the new entry of the series, Chase McCain could be like falsely accused of a crime and he would be stripped of his badge, as well as arrested, then somehow sprung from custody, and then he could like use the services of a bunch of private investigators and, in the meantime, his old boss, the chief, ends up being involved somehow into a shady new organization, as well as the people that Chase McCain had fought against in the game, and then it could have more shout outs to games like the Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row, Driver, Mafia, and True Crime franchises, as well as various private detective shows (and maybe a few cameos of the people that were in the original series if they are still alive, and/or are willing to reprise their roles from years ago, as voice actors in the game), you know, like The Rockford Files, McCloud, Quincy, M.D., Hart to Hart, Hardcastle and McCormick, etc., as well as have some new cops alongside the old ones, you know, from other franchises like Cagney and Lacey, Police Woman, S.W.A.T. (the old school series, the movie, and the new school series), Blue Bloods, Hawaii Five-O (both the old-school and new school versions of the show), etc. Also, in a way that is reminiscent of the old Clint Eastwood movie called The Enforcer, as well as through the movie, and television, versions, of The Fugitive, and shows like Renegade and The A-Team, he could be that person that was falsely accused of a crime that he did not commit and, as he is trying to clear his name, as well as to continue patching things up with his formerly ex-girlfriend, as was possibly the case at the end of LEGO City Undercover, but things like this, as well as her getting kidnapped, and various assassination attempts on his life, make things even more dire for poor Chase McCain.
However, what was happening was that, unknown to Chase McCain, the state and federal cops were actually arranging for Chase McCain to be removed from his job, never mind that he was actually not arrested, or removed from his job, as there were several new hires by the chief of police, as well as the chief himself, that were doing shady things in the police department, and in LEGO City as well, or at least knew that they were happening and that did nothing to stop them from happening, and Chase McCain was tapped by these higher level police organizations to root out the criminal elements in LEGO City, which included a massive increase in gang activity (which I would love to see more of a classic beat-em-up/side-scrolling brawler take in the game as well), and then the new big bad is revealed after going through the various bosses in the game.

In my early twenties now and I still adore these games. They’re so much fun. And they were also apart of my childhood so the nostalgia is brilliant too.

Yeah shooters are out of my league. That's why I like games where you can just keep trying until you get it (Lego and Disgaea)
Videogames in general, not just lego ones, are meant to be for kids, just like cartoons and comics for example. But that doesnt mean adults cant enjoy them. Just because im 32 years old doesnt mean i should force myself to stop enjoying certain things more associated with kids.

I'm in my 40s and I too like playing like playing Lego games.
The first Lego game i ever played was Lego Island when we got our first ever computer in 2000 i was 7 n it was really fun challenging for me at the time but was great. then in like 6th or 7th grade my friend got lego star wars the video game for xbox and we would play all day at his house it was so much fun.
Now i am 28yrs old and game on my PC i saw steam had a sale for a bunch of lego games that was to good to pass up i was able to get 5games for $22 Lego Batman 2, The force awakens star wars, Jurassic World, Ninjago the Movie and Marvel Heroes 2 n my 3yr old son has so much fun playing he is using the xbox style razer controller and i’m using the keyboard to play 2 player. i l loving it too. we are streaming on twitch as well
I'm almost 40, I never played with Lego toys, I don't have kids and recently I discovered how much I love Lego games. They are simple, addictive, relaxing and fun, everything I need after a difficult day or week.
I even play with the Lego toys and I'm 20 years old. In fact people who work as builders 👷♂️ uses Lego to create their vision for the building.
Lego games always rank high when it comes to franchise games, e.g. the LOTR lego games is one of the best, and al the one where you got to build your own lego cars and actually play them in the game itself was awesome!
Tbh, it’s just the best kind of game to play when you just aren’t wanting to put in the effort for a huge campaign like Skyrim or whatnot. Lego requires little thinking when playing their games.
Those puzzles can be hard sometimes though. Still love the game’s though.

I have so much fond memories playing these games as a kid. Honestly the older games like from star wars to lord of the rings will always be favorites!

Never got a chance to play that much LEGO games as a kid, especially the next gen ones with voice overs and open world. I only got to play the ones on the PSP because that was the only console I had back then. Now that I'm older and started earning money, I try to play every LEGO game that I had dreamed of playing back then.
For me there fun, casual , and bring nostalgia about our childhoods and a bonus it always felt like tt games always releases complete and very well polished games ,has there ever been a time lego games experience bugs im a actually curious to hear someone else's voice about it

you can be cheated out of a 100% sometimes as specific collectibles just... don’t appear. some games have specific bugs (especially dc super villains) and have places where you can literally clip out of the world (lego marvel super heroes)
In any lego game when you find yourself stuck and dont know where to go then break everything in the room you stuck in because you most likely gotta build something. My first time playing Lego Marvel Super heros I landed in a park and was stuck the gate was locked so i broke everything and the last street light near the gate was the last thing I had to break and come to find out it was THAT specific street light i needed to destroy to build a interaction tool...wasnt mad I gained alot of studs! pro tip only studs for Stanely or that badass wizard who's literally a clone of Gandalf.

Haven't played one since Marvel Super Heroes besides Jurassic Park. It was so good in the hub. I don't think they could do any better.
I also always preffered the grunts and maneurisms of the older ones over the talking dialogue ones. It made the movie based games seem a little more original and very funny at the time, at least. Besides Marvel Super Heroes of course, It was so good.

I was playing lego video games before I even got any physical sets and the older games before dialog are still some of my favorite lego video games to play that is why I ended up getting the lego harry pottercollection for my ps4 a few months ago because it was one of the older games that I had not tried I think not counting lego dimensions the only lego games from 2007 to 2018 that I have not played are lego lord of the rings lego hobbit and the lego incredibles games. I wish they would remaster the classic lego batman the video game and maybe do the same for lego batman 2 because those were the 2 lego games I always played on my wii.

The one thing I hate about the LEGO games, is that they keep crashing. I have LEGO City on The Switch & PS4, they crash in every 2-3 hours.
I'm 19 and I love playing lego games. Whether it's classics like lego indiana jones or lego star wars complete saga to new ones lego dc supervillains or lego marvel 2. Lego games are always a fun experience. I personally love 100% lego games when I play them they make me feel accomplished when I get the 100%. I don't care if I'm 50 years old I will always look forward to playing every lego game as they come out and completing them all. Just one thing... Lego Please Make a Lego Infinity Saga game similar to lego avengers. My life would be complete if that happens.
