- Lego games feature a wide variety of characters, but some of them simply aren't worth playing. Not every character is worth your hard-earned studs and these are the ones you can probably wait until much, much later to get. Our list includes President Business from "The Lego Movie Videogame" (2014), J. Jonah Jameson from "Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2" (2017), Bib Fortuna from "Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy" (2006), and more! Did you waste any studs on these characters? J. Jonah Jameson, has a resemblance to Stan Lee. The comic book writer who created most of the marvel characters.
Seriously?! Where are characters like Jhagur from Void Indigo? A influenced character such as Deathstroke. Wolverine Jimmy Hudson, the Ultimate versions of the Avengers, Magick, Deadpool Wadey Wilson, and Miracleman. Miracleman. A character from Mick Anglo. Who was issued with copyright infringement from marvel. Marvel has the rights to these characters recently. These characters from marvel owned haven't appeared in Lego games yet.
C'mon, guys. Gonk droid is the best character from the whole Star Wars lore, and it's a privilege to play as him in the Lego games

I was literally about to comment about how the Goni droid should have never even gotten close to the list but then I saw this
Yah the Gonk Droid is one of the most useless characters. But he's a fan favorite because it's one of the most recognized droids, it's boxy, cute, shows up a ton in Star Wars media, pretty easy to build the earlier types in Lego even if you don't have the right printed peices, and he's value is in his comedic nature. You're literaly playing as an adorable walking box, even better if it can jump or at least attack, there's also the fact that in the OG games non combat droids could walk around without being attacked, meaning it's hilarious to just switch to them and either walk on past the enemies, or use an Astro's shocker, or if you got Red Bricks unlocked, suicide bomb the enem as you self destruct. THat's why these characters listd each exist, most of them are existing in univers and are just there to flesh out the roster and be fun side characters who ight play as for a laugh. Damage COntrol I get, but Jamesonis iconic to Marvel, I love when they give side characters unique little details like Jemeson throwing newspapers for a ranged attack, and for a special attack he literally pulls out his desk, sits down looking angry, and shouts "Parker!!!!" He's not useful for abilities, but he just adds to the charm of Lego games with his little quirks like these. Plus most of the time when you get around to unlocking these extra characters, you've ussually got a stud multipyer or collected enoug studs that you're not to worried about what you spend them on.
I'm calling it now: Both LEGO Indiana Jones games shall be re-released as a collection on modern consoles either later this year or early next year because of the new Indiana Jones film. And we will also be getting sets around the same time for the same reason.

I think it's kinda funny to cause damage as the guys who have to clean up that damage afterwards
And that's what's great about these characters, just finding your own little fun with them, like Da,ag COntrol causing random damage, or the Gonk Droid taking out bad guys. Or pretending JJ is out looking for Peter and is like "Here, have a newspaper" says as he throws them at people and gets mad at his desk which he somehow carries around with him.

I honestly would’ve included Aunt May from the first Lego Marvel game, she’s the final reward for unlocking every single character in the game so she’s essentially the 100% reward and since she’s an old lady. She’s very slow and all she can do is use her purse to hit people with it. I know Peter Parker’s aunt isn’t a great combat person especially being an old lady but come on that definitely is up there as one of the biggest intentional joke rewards for 100% a game.

Honestly I couldn't care less if these characters are "usless" i still like the inclusion of these characters no matter what.
I hope the gonk droid on skywalker saga will be as useless as the one in the complete saga and I hope we get a "super gonk" red brick

There are two useless characters from LIJ2: The Indian Farmer who does nothing except replaces Sacrifice Victim for a family friendly purpose, and Market Trader, who adds along with the shovel users for no reason exept he could've been better off as an npc (nothing against him being playable, but it feels not natural for his role to play as an unlockable character). Hatay King and Interdimensional Being/Akator Skeleton are both cool looking, but average. I have nothing against the Ancient Sailor from LPOTC either as he is uniquely cosmetic and cosmetic characters are creatively fine. The two exclusive dlc's from LEGO LOTR: Captain Faramir and Barrow Wight could've been number 9 (they both could've been playable in final game but they ended up being saved as a limited dlc)

Pretty sure LEGO Indy 2 IS NOT just the first game with Skull content.
For one thing; 2 doesn't have the iconic boulder scene from Raiders. Also 2's version of that film ends with the grey uniform general guy getting empowered by the Ark, making him the film's final boss, not destroyed by it

I would argue that chancellor palpatine is worse because he can be attacked and killed easily. Gonk droids can only be targeted by jawas and ugnauts, and super gonk provides him with all of Palpatine's utility.

I’d point out that Palpatine has a gun in the DS port of Complete Saga, but the one thing you never wanna do is remind people that DS ports of LEGO games exist.

Gonk droid is not useless he is the best character and carries the entire star wars story😤
The Interdimensional Being is a bit better in the DS version, being the only character that holds the Crystal Skull and is able to attack. Also, unlike the others, whenever he uses the Skull's abilities, he takes it off of his head, which is just extra comedic value. If you want useless, I would nominate Herman, aka the Boy Scout, from Lego Indy 1, because not only does he have no utility, but he's also afraid of snakes, meaning he's LESS than worthless!
