JZ Mics Amethyst the new vintage

In this episode I show you a great new mic with an old sound. the JZ Microphones Amethyst is a condenser in the style of a Neumann U67 for a fraction of the price.
i've been playing with it in the studio for a while and on thisepisode I recorded all the instruments with just this mic.

Great episode Budda! I loved to see all techniques and details applied to record each instrument, for sure it captured your cold quite well, since it was quite obvious! I´ve never record drums and it has surprised me in a good way, since they sounded quite big in the mix for only one mic. However the price range of the mic is quite high for my wallet :) so for now I will keep experimenting with my SM57 and LCT440 Condencer mic. Nice intro by the way. Cheers!

I am certain that the computer is not reading my mind, so it is just a Cosmic Convergence that I was considering last night that I could get ahead by not having any close mics on the half dozen or so sources in the room, but that just mixing two or three good room mics might be less of an engineering problem. It seems that JZ are poised to solve my issues 👍
