My favorite is the infield pop-up that Boog says is "up against the wall"...wait, there's a wall there, next to the mound? The line drive off the pitcher, to the short stop, on to first...pitcher stays in the game without even a check from the trainer. The "moments" when you're supposed to be throwing a perfect game, but when the stadium announcer reads the final line score, he says that the opposing team left guys on base OR as a hitter, it's the first inning, nobody on, one out, you're batting third, but no runs have scored (am I batting out of order?)...and/or you are already 0-for-1 in the game. You have 99 speed/99 stealing, catcher has a 75 arm, the pitch is an 80mph change up off the plate and the catcher fires a dart that gets to second before you do. 20 foul balls in one at-bat. The batter takes a swing, but checks after crossing the plate, gets hit by the ball and gets awarded first base...especially pitchers trying to bunt. The ball goes over the wall on the fly, but the computer thinks it's still in play, goes through the wall, finds the ball, tries to throw you out unless you caught on and tried for the inside-the-park HR (certain created ballparks). 50 speed batters that beat out routine double play grounders while 99 speed batters get thrown out on double play grounders deep in the hole. And, of course, the Perfect/Perfect foul ball with no wind.
@@AstroGGBaseball I only play a few games a day during the season; could you imagine if I was one of the big content providers that play 20 games a day? for me it’s those 110mph infield line outs to an infielder or the 100+ mph groundball that should easily split the gap until my opponent makes a stupid diving stop that shouldn’t happen and throws out the runner.
Good contact is like 90% a pop out in the INF or OF. No ropes to the gap, just a lazy pop up. They need to go back to the hitting mechanic from MLB 16 and earlier.
You meed some fielding blunders in there like, easy pop fly but you push stick in wrong direction for a literal milisecond but its enough to set off a chain event of player animations as you desperately scream “NOOO STOP OMG STOP GO THE OTHER WAY” and it’s too late because you’re like 15 feet in the wrong direction already🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭
I don't usually do that, but what annoys me when I field is when they hit a short HR that you can rob, but the fielder dives instead of trying to rob it.
Where’s the clip of the first baseman being at the edge of the grass instead of on the base when the right fielder tries to get a 9-3 putout on sharp grounder.
That was to avoid cheese, in the old games you could get anyone under a 90 speed, when it primarily happens to your slower guys(catchers, first basemen, power dh hitters) there are times where it's frustrating, because if they were on the bag they'd be out, but how often do you really see 9-3 grounders
This game definitely has some type of bullshit going on, I’ve played multiple games where I would be up 7-8 runs in the first 2-3 innings and dude wouldn’t even be touching me, usually someone would quit if they down that much but there are a few that stay in the game and I swear it’s like the game rewards them or some shit for staying then all of a sudden he getting BS hits constantly then smokes a HR off some pitch that I didn’t even put there or my pitcher just can’t hit his spots anymore… and yes I use Pinpoint, all I know it’s just like NHL with ice tilt they be helping the shitty players
