Thank you, Ch'ing Ma, for very technical and accurate translation to English. 'Mandarin TV' interrogator had more profound more severe questions to Bruce Xiaoyu Liu than I expected. Xiaoyu Liu answered well with his emotional thinking way and his performance policy. I'm satisfied with it. I wish it's site will open more to Xiaoyu Liu's supporters.
Thank you so much for your sweet encouragement💘 I also love their dialogue on those points like 'derivative creators' and 'balance on integrality and formalism'. It's not easy for an interrogator to get this.
Many thanks for translation.I am also a fan of Chinese Tenor Yijie Shi and I communicate with other fans of Bruce in Italian because many Chinese students speak Italian🌞💐🙌🍁🙏
Thanks so much for posting this valuable interview. Three questions: 1) Have you (or has anyone reading this) come across any interview where he explains how he attained such excellent Mandarin skills in spite of growing up in Paris/Montreal? It's pretty admirable. 2) Are either of his parents musicians? 3) What is the piece he's performing 11:14-13:37?
I've read another piece of your comments before you take it back, which really inspired me. You obviously got a lot from his great job more than I did. I just felt a Chinese concept, "活", which probably means living, alive, dynamic, vigorous or so, anyhow, the opposite of death and rigidity. I just listened a lot from a past maestro, Fou Ts'ong, whose generation was probably in more profound eastern poetic concerns. Besides, thanks for your encouragement on my translation!
@@chingma4792 I truly appreciate your translation and also watched the other vid of yours on Bruce that truly touched me so I left a comment there as well:) Thanks a lot ❤ I wish I could share it on my IG so more people can watch it.
Ching Ma, thanks for your translation, appreciate it! But May I suggest you use “concerts “ rather than “shows”. Classical music are presented in “concerts “ , not as in commercial “shows “.
Thank you, Ch'ing Ma. This is invaluable. Would you please consider doing an English translation of Bruce's recent interview on Taiwan radio show "2021-1107【珏如 Small Talk】第六集: 第十八屆國際蕭邦鋼琴大賽 冠軍─劉曉禹(Bruce)來啦! We would be most grateful : )
@@chingma4792 I am very excited to hear back from you - thank YOU very much. This is excellent news from you. I will wait to see the English translation on your channel (please take your time). It is very interesting to know that the interviewer from Taiwan is also a pianist. Thank you again , Ch'ing Ma ! : )

This Taiwan🇹🇼 interrogator is also a pianist, which makes her interview different.
