Bruce is not only a great pianist , he is an amazing personality. A young man, and such a wise approach to fame and hype around his person. I appreciate him very much, I wish him plenty of rest and regular meals. Stress, not eating breakfast and late dinners can cause chronic fatigue. The most important thing is for him to be happy, do what he wants and not feel the pressure of fame. He will always be a wonderful person for me.
Sincere congratulations on you new found life of fame and stardom. It is my prayer that you continue to enjoy your journey in the most remarkable and miraculous way, and a sincere thank you for being an inspiration and vessel of love joy and peace to a world of Chopin enthusiasts and classical music lovers. 🙏👏👏👏🙌🎉🎊👌
Thanks Chopin Institute for arranging the interview. Great questions! Thanks for sharing your new life with us, Bruce. Best wishes to your new and exciting adventure!🥂❤️
This interview is very high quality; I saw this in the morning, but felt like a short movie !! Thank you for posting the nice interview ^^ Mr. Bruce is so cool 😎
Thank you so much Chopin Institut. I like this new pianist. He boosts me to exceed my limits as a pianist and to be a student at the conservatory, thanks to him.💙👔
#metoo..it s not very usual that new comers take their place in the sky of the greats immediately, but Bruce got everyone on his side with his great appearances, and not only with music ❤️
I really like his honesty. He might enjoy his life now but time to time, he also might miss his old life that changed drastically in a night, it is normal. He knows that this win might be the best thing that happened to his career but he also needs time to digest all. I am sure that he will find the right balance, he is doing really well so far like a true champ!🙌😎
Thanks Chopin Institute and Mr. Liu for sharing the wonderful interview. Bruce’s dad did really good job, to feed Bruce like a bear 🐻😀😀. The home is like a bear cave, always providing Maestro Bruce sufficient energy and some fat 😀 and then he can leave the cave and share his magical music to the world. Sincerely, I’d like to say: THANK YOU, Mr. Bruce Liu and your great dad! ❤️❤️❤️
@@loveispatient0808 in this interview, he said he lost 4kg during tour, and when he was back at home, he regained the weight as his dad “fed me like a bear”😀. I don’t know more about his family. Seems his parents are quite modest, never appeared in any public interview. It’s good that his parents can still live their calm lives.❤️
I’ve heard that some competitors would rather place second than first because winning this competition can so profoundly change your life. Runners-up get to go home. There are sacrifices, that’s for sure, but we are so grateful for the music.
Those who would rather placed 2nd than 1st just prefer to stay at their comfort zones. Bruce is the right person to get the 1st as he mentioned that stepping out of the comfort zone could always make him grow.
It's fun to think that some local music "experts" in Denmark tend to see Bruce more as a "harpsichordist - not a pianist". I honestly have no idea what those critics are smoking or drinking.....
I’m sure he doesn’t regret winning, no one does. It’s just that there are many responsibilities, as he says, after winning. A busy schedule full of concerts and tours can be very tiring.
It is everybody's dream to win the Chopin competition so he definitely wouldn't feel regret. However life has changed a lot since the win. He has become one of the busiest and most popular painists in the world .

Thank you , Chopin Institute for an interesting interview. Good questions and very honest answers.
A manager or an agent will help Bruce balance his career and his private life.
He's already an important and much loved artist!
Good idea.

How did you know about his dad and where can I read about his parents as I am curious about his family life? What about his mom?

Good afternoon! Looking forward to hearing in Warsaw:)🎶🎶
thanks for the interview ❣
Great Interview. Loved the questions!
I can see that he couldn't believe he won. He didn't expect it at all. See the moment he heard of winning....
Fajny, skromny, miły chłopak :-) Ciekawe, czy był w Żelazowej Woli...

I’m grateful that Bruce won. As wonderful as the other competitors are, Bruce is the cream of the crop!

What else can we say but love ( love of music
Imo Li Yundi is the greatest pianist and I can hear Li Yundi is Bruce Liu's playing, I bet he is going to be one of the greats
Bruce, don't forget your breakfasts!!!

❤
what’s the piece he’s playing at 1:02??
It’s Rondo à la Mazur in F major, Op. 5
He sounds like he regrets winning):
I get him
