My Father was a Farm Kid in the early 1900's. At the sound of the Roosters crow b4 Dawn, he wd rise put on his overalls, go to the barn, milk the 3 Cows by hand, feed the 2 giant Plough Horses & others, collect eggs. Come in for a breakfast of plump Hotcakes, homemade Butter, Syrup, Biscuits, homegrown Eggs, Bacon (no fear of nitrates), dn a mug of strong, black Coffee and set out on Maude - one of the big Horses - and riding bareback up to the "high pasture", herded the rest of the Cows down to the Farm - then "ride the wire" (look for & repair fences).

You should put a temporary backstop on the trailer for hauling hay to prevent the stack from rolling prior to strapping.
Dodge flatbed would work with a simple drop hitch. There are many that would handle 10k.

Bugger your coupling is welded to the trailer. Otherwise the solution would be to add a riser block under the coupling on the trailer. I have a trailer I use a 4 inch riser block on when I use the big 4wd to tow the trailer, I just have a longer set of bolts to hold the coupling on when using the riser block, takes about 10 minutes to install it.

Flatbead/trailer issue. Add a lower hitch to the flatbed L and add a high hitch to the trailer 7 so you have a double hitch [ ===]. just a idea. It would allow you to keep the trailer level and spread the weight over two hook ups.

Sonne Farms in S Dakota has a free standing fly stand with two ropes (kinda like the top of a kite) that get soaked with fly killing solution. The ropes scratch the itch and the cows use them based on the hair found on the rope.
    A possible solution, FTR.

When we haul cornstalk bales in the fall we ratchet strap a 4×6 to the deck of the trailer for the back bottom bale to rock against. It is a cheap insurance to keep bales on the trailer. With your new arrowquip chute can't you run the one late cow in and arm her so you know if she is bred? Knowing would make her worth more at the salebarn.
