"I don't mind it, I just like complaining about it" LMAO.. I'm TOTALLY stealing that!! Mama does look sore, fingers crossed she recovers quickly. And yey, the working coral got it's first use. How sweet of her to wait until you finished it 😉
Tyler, you have a beautiful personality, your true compassion about your animals is so refreshing to see. You treat them with respect, and you see them as individuals. It doesn't end there, you are like that with your family too, you don't make them come into the spotlight, only when they want to, so you also respect their privacy. That is why I love watching you on your farm, so different and relaxing to watch. Thank you.
yeah, that stuff really does stink. I learnt the hard way to always wear gloves lol. I had to go to a friends wedding the day after using it. Yeah, not great lol!
Lots of detours, difficulties but, no dilemmas. It does make for building patience and a change of plans. However, you're just the man for the job. Ya got it done not much fun. Didn't get stung under the hot sun. Appreciate your sharing your experience and letting us go along for the ride. Again thanks for sharing another episode of "Farmer Tyler Ranch"😊❤ Be safe, healthy, strong, wise and successful. Blessings in Jesus's Mighty Name ☝🙏🙌💪👊
Tyler, you are such an amazing, caring farmer. The last couple of days I’ve been thinking if any of your cattle ever get hoof rot . . . I’ve seen some videos of some really bad cases. Im glad you found it quick. Prayers she heals rapidly. 🙏🏼🐂🙏🏼
Hello from Michigan. Shall we call it what it is; Cow B&B...lmao. You are so kind to your animals, " Oh they have no shade ". "Well, we have this loverly B&B or this B&B with a salt block". Just havin some fun Tyler. Take care, God bless.
Goodmorning from Maine, Bald Face Hornets really enjoy the pine trees of Maine...they find old cut stumps and take up residency really fast...clearing out the backyard 15 years ago of the pine trees, our dozer guy got chased off his machine and stung a few times...he found the nest and it was the size of a 5 gallon bucket...we burned it out and sprayed the spot and used a power washer to make sure we left nothing alive.
Thank you for all the knowledge, and supplies you have given my dad. He is excited about his new girls. I gotta say, having neighbors like we have is awesome. I'm right over the railroad tracks from you guys.
Hello FT! Big day of chores for sure! Praying for healing for your hurt girl! She really made you work hard to get her in the chute! Hope you can have a great evening of rest! God’s blessings!❤❤❤
Thanks FT. Another great video of a day on FTR. I sure hope Momma heals up quickly. When you are working your cows I think you should incorporate the music theme from the old tv show, Rawhide. Probably not a lot of subscribers remember that one. ‘Head em up, move em out, Rawhide.’
Happy about a new video! Great images! Thank you! It is good to see you just moving on after some less joyful days! All the best from over the big pond;)
Tyler I have the same issues with the back rubber. I actually put 2 5”x8’ post in the ground near where I feed hay round. They used it so much they kept breaking the rope!!
I have some questions, just curious. Do you ever give pain meds or anti-inflammatory in a case like this where her discomfort is obvious but there is no sign of infection? For now is it just better to wait and see if she improves with some rest? And also, would keeping an extra cow or two, or Buddy, in the pen with her help when the time comes to introduce her back into the her? Or would both animal then need to establish themselves in the herd again? I suppose cost of bale feeding when grass is available does not make it desirable to corral any animals unless necessary right now. I love learning about all the in’s and out’s of managing a farm. You are always a sensible and thoughtful person.
❤ Tyler you had your hands full today, but your such a joy to follow. I watch Walker Fam out of Oklahoma and he is fighting hornets everyday. If their not in his fench, their in his chicken coop, he's got a full time job chasing hornets. Keep your chin up. And it looks Beautiful down at the winter pasture, those trees and terrain in the background are really something to look at.
try putting some copper tubing in the bottom of that water tank and it will keep the Algae away, if you don't think it will work put some water in a bucket with some copper in the bottom of the ducket and see if it's going to work it works in my bird bath in Indiana
Next time you get her in the chute take your hoof nippers (GE) and trim the hoof wall especially the heels that are starting to curl over then take your hoof knife and clean the sole and see if there is something stuck in the sole or a hole in the sole itself . However I didn't see anything bad with the sole. Remember to take your chain saw next time out in that field to cut the eye pokies out. The new chute and working corral look good.
Three rules I try to abide by: plenty of faucets/hydrants, shut off valves everywhere, and electrical outlets in places you don’t think you’d EVER need one!
I was listening to your live - the cat situation, I was thinking the barn is perfect when there is hay in it and they seem to move on when it is gone at the end of the winter - they loose their hidding spot - they do need spaying so they don't wonder - I have seen farmers with 12 barn cats on dairy farms and they have a cat house for them that is warm in the winter and has different levels so everyone has their own spot - if you can find a few kittens (spayed if possible) put them in a cat house when they arrive for a month so they know home base - you will also be able to tame them a little if they are in there so you can worm and flea them each year and be able to Dr them if they are injured or get them to a vet
0:33 Taylor get a cow hoof guy to come in and check her out they usually get them up and running in no time. She's in pain and a cow hoof guy can relieve much of the pain in a very short time. They're just a call away and worth the call. That crack needs to be cleaned out and treared for a complete heal.
Updated working corral worked great! Sure like the Aeroquip chute! Unfortunately there is no clear etiology for the limp! Great your working area is setup to put her at rest and easy follow up. Good post FTR!
Im down in Perris, Ca and we noticed a heavy onset of wasps making nests. we sprayed and covered holes but we also mowed and weed wacked overgrown dead vegitation the cattle and goats wouldn't eat. We noticed the wasps moved away from the corrals and to near by covered areas. Maybe clearing out the weeds will help with the wasps.
Are you giving her any anti inflammatory &/or pain medication? Or does the copper tox serve that purpose too? You didn’t mention that one way or the other …
❤❤VIDEO ❤❤really enjoyed this episode. Great information ❤ just a quick question.. do you plan to paint the bare metal pipe you just installed..I have seen it done with rust inhibitor paint it really looks great, ❤❤Evan did it on CVA. It turned out great.. maybe if you prepped out a little section of 30ft at a time. It won’t seem overwhelming ❤
PLEASE WATCH, LIKE, AND COMMENT. SUBSCRIBE IF YOU HAVEN’T. Farmer Tyler is fun to watch.
I sure hope that hoof heals quickly. I cringed each time she had to take a step. You are such a good caretaker of your animals.
"I don't mind it, I just like complaining about it" LMAO.. I'm TOTALLY stealing that!! Mama does look sore, fingers crossed she recovers quickly. And yey, the working coral got it's first use. How sweet of her to wait until you finished it 😉
You're definitely NOT afraid to get dirty. Hardworker with common sense. We need more farmers (and people) like you!
Great video! You treat your cows so well! And your conversation with them is so kind and gentle. Good job, FT!
Love the fuel gauge. My father in law had one of those type fuel gauges for each of his four old tractors. He made them out of Sassfrass.

💯
Very, very well said. Thank you.
Boy that sore foot didn't stop her much.
The water spout fixed easy.
The flies can't leave soon enough.
Have a great week.
I can smell that coppertox! It’s a smell you will never forget, even from 40 years ago! I hope she heals up soon!
yeah, that stuff really does stink. I learnt the hard way to always wear gloves lol. I had to go to a friends wedding the day after using it. Yeah, not great lol!
She's not a tank but she's not tiny! Sounds like a country song.
😂😂 ima pass that info on! Maybe we’ll see one!!❤
Hope she heals quickly.
Glad the steers are doing well in the heat.
Have a great day.
Poor lame cow. You are a good caretaker.
Love how gentle you are with these giant critters.
You absolutely get your share of exercise!

Quote of the week! "I dont mind it, i just like to complain about it"
Tyler, your tractor sounds like the rocker assembly could need an adjusting or perhaps an oil change. Just lending an ear from Texas.
Hello FT! Big day of chores for sure! Praying for healing for your hurt girl! She really made you work hard to get her in the chute! Hope you can have a great evening of rest! God’s blessings!❤❤❤
Hi Tyler, hope she feels better anyway 9-10-2024❤
Greater words have never been spoken. "Hose Bibs Everwhair "

Howdy from VA
Great video farmer Tyler

Water trough, flies and broken sprinklers……ahhh the good old days!
You take good care of your cattle. Live in southern Alberta and the wasps are terrible this year.

Hi good morning Tyler from Indiana
Hello, fellow Hoosier!
Can you send pictures of the hoof and video of the limp to your vet? He /She may have an idea that you haven't thought of.
Walking through a white door with a bush next to it? Peter, is that you? 😂
Good job.

Always drives me crazy when all you want to do is help them get better and they fight the whole way haha
100 degrees, 🥵. We’re finally out of those numbers
and down into the 70-80’s here in eastern WA.
Enjoyed the video, as always.

One can never have enough faucets🚰 and electric outlets 🔌. I hope your cow gets better soon.
Wonderful video, hope the cow gets better 😊😊. Fly’s , foot rot and don’t forget the WASPS 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣you do make me laugh xx
Good morning, Tyler. Looks like a beautiful day there. Sunny here in OKC. I believe we're supposed to get about 89.
Have a wonderful day
Yes, don't wait too long- better call Nate the hoof guy.
Greetings from Germany
Or The Hoof GP. 😂
Thanks Tyler,peace brother…
Good morning 😊
Another great video. Thanks for letting us hang out with you
Three rules I try to abide by: plenty of faucets/hydrants, shut off valves everywhere, and electrical outlets in places you don’t think you’d EVER need one!
We use pheromone bee traps for the meat bees (wasps) here in wine country. Would these traps help mitigate your wasp problem?
For a second there I thought you were going into "just a few acres" Pete's workshop!
Good morning
"faucets every where, you can't have too many!" What a truth! That and electric sockets... can't have too many! 💕🌞🌵😷
I halfway expected a rattlesnake to come out when you lifted that tank.
Hi Tyler
Can you get some barley straw? Put barley straw in a smaller burlap bag and put it in your water tanks to keep the Alge from growing so fast.
I hope your sweet cow doesn’t have an infection are a crack in her white lining. It might take a hoof trimmer. ❤
I've been thinking about picking up a new fuel gauge for my tractor. Thanks for the product demonstration. 🤠
Cool thanks 😊

Awesome job take care of your Cow very good video thank you
Kudos for putting the scratch brush for them. I’ve heard that it’s a fantastic way to improve the quality of life for your livestock
Those cows gave you a run for your money today!! LOL
0:33 Taylor get a cow hoof guy to come in and check her out they usually get them up and running in no time. She's in pain and a cow hoof guy can relieve much of the pain in a very short time. That cow has a hell of a calf!
Alliteration works too.
I always look forward to your videos.
Calf suffice or Buddy for companion in treatment pen?
Good job
Dude, it’s time to finish that ford tractor in the shop. I figured you needed that little nudge. LOL 😂
You are such a good owner..
Where’s the Hoof GP when you need him?!. lol.
😁
time to call the HOOFGP!!!
I was wondering same. Ever trim the hoof?
I spy a freshly washed ford f250.
Nate the hoof guy is good.
Updated working corral worked great! Sure like the Aeroquip chute! Unfortunately there is no clear etiology for the limp! Great your working area is setup to put her at rest and easy follow up. Good post FTR!
Ahh the “cold open”
Good job as usual
Maybe watch the Hoof GP. Great hoof trimmer. He created his channel to teach cow farmers about hoof health. Love Ya!
Another great video!
Flies.
The fuel gage LOL
