You do what you have to and even if a tractor being pulled by a dozer isn't elegant, well there aren't points given for 'style', only for accomplishing the job. Well done you 3. Now that property looks like a farm. Instead of an abandoned dump. No more crap surrounding the buildings and no more tall brush, weeds and saplings. Nice open land ready to grow corn. I come from a small Michigan farm town myself and I love the look of corn fields. They're great for rabbit hunting. Cornfrabbits actually fo taste like chicken. It's not gamey tasting. Farmers used to love us hunting the field borders. They'd thow us a few bushels of corn on the cob free at harvest time my Mom "us kids" would can. We pretty much never bought canned veggies or fruit/preserves.
Nothing like watching Tractor Pulls from the Debry Farm! 😂😂 Time to bring the D4 into the shop and add Hydraulic controls on the back for "Ripping" aka, Disk pulling so we can eliminate the middle man (You already have the hitch)! 👍👍
My dog peed on a rather expensive looking Porsche at B&Q yesterday. Yep we were walking through the Trade side of the Car Park which was full of beat up Vans and pickups and he choses the Porsche. The boy has standards what can I say 🤷🏻♂️
Transformations like that don't just "happen", you either have a vision in how you know it will be needed or you don't. Useable space for your needs, acreage and drainage for farmer Chris. A fine job DP, didn't expect it would be anything less. Millings would be killer to have though, really kill the mud which ruins everyones day with loading/offloading equipment.
I've said it before & may say it again. A 3 to 5 yard pan would be a really handy "tool" machine to have. A tractor or dozer can load, haul, unload & spread in a small area and just move the dirt one time instead of moving 'all day'. AND it would make good video!!
An huge challenge to make this farm ready for sowing corn presented itself from the time you purchased this abandoned and neglected farm to this day of filming, and with a large push it was made ready for Farmer Chris to do his work. Awesome work all - it looks great.

Loved to watch you rehab the farm. It makes you proud when you can see results like that. I can’t believe you didn’t think of loading the front bucket on the tractor to get some weight on the front end
I understand the tractor is under powered to pull that harrow. Having said that, with a bigger tractor, we always had a built metal box attached in the center of the harrow with 4-500 lbs of rock in to. It forces the harrow down into the ground and makes it work really well.
Those rounds using the bulldozer to pull the tractor with the disc (shown in time lapse): I could imagine Gunner being interested and cheering you (or booing Aaron). ;-)

Just so good to see all that hard work come to fruition. I know with time delays in getting videos out, would love to see a snapshot of the fields after Farmer Chris has done tillage and planting. Great job, lots of laughs as usual with Mike and Aaron, and the icing on the cake is seeing Jerry. Hopefully with summer and possibly resulting bigger jobs (appreciating Jerry is technically retired) we get to see him a few more times to make our day!

An absolutely wonderful transformation. It looks 150% different and 200% better. One could say it went from Bushy Gardens' Wildlife and Snake Emporium to Indiana's Field of Dreams and Tassel Mania ! Great job, Gentlemen.
The problem with the disc is that it is cutting at the most severe angle possible, if you bring the gangs closer together the less the angle and the raider it is to pull. Also it looks like it is set to go as deep as possible in the dirt, if you raise it up out of the ground a bit, it won't cut so deep and this easier to pull.😊
MBTS has certainly come along way, his dozer work is really good, mind you he does have 2 excellent teachers. Looks really good Mike, its really good when you see something come to fruition. Hope farmer Chris finds the land easy to use. 👍
