Wonderful. Still semaphore well into the 90s! Gosh its all so neglected. Looks like a warm day despite it only being March. I can still smell those dusty dirty platforms and feel the iron struts of the station canopy. 6:40 Used to see those ballast trucks (the single one) a lot on the line that run behind my house in Surrey. Weren't they called seacows or something?
Nice variety in traction and freight in this video. March station still had that late steam era look, not a single bright coloured modern thing in sight apart from the rubbish bin. It's often the bright colours used, ramps and modern fencing which spoil the look of old stations in the current time, they just don't match.

Peak 45132, seen at 11:43, is now preserved at the Epping Ongar Railway

I love the 158s. This was a bit before my time but a golden era imo
Glad you enjoyed it James
Just randomly came across your videos today. Great stuff, thanks for sharing.
Amazing vid, interesting to see variety of freight and shiny new 158s that still plod along that line, shame nothing else survived.
I only we still had that kind a variety of traction today.
I never even got to experience that variety
